Cuadra 134 Residencial was the perfect home base for my 3-night stay in Roma Norte. It’s incredibly affordable, spotless, and in a super convenient location right in the heart of the action. Check-in was super smooth. I signed a bit of quick paperwork and was given the door code, WiFi, and some great food recommendations in the area. The building itself is beautiful and modern, filled with greenery and peaceful outdoor areas that are perfect for getting some work done or enjoying a quiet meal. The studio apartment with the balcony had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, comfy bed, strong AC, and reliable WiFi that handled both work and streaming with no problem. The only minor downside was the noise from the street, especially with the hospital nearby, but it never kept me from falling asleep and didn’t take away from the experience overall. Just something to note if you’re sensitive to sound. The location is unbeatable. I walked to a Lucha Libre show, hit up an awesome vintage shop, and was never far from incredible food. My favorite place to eat, Pollos Ponchos, was just a short stroll away, and there’s even a Starbucks right across the street. The neighborhood felt very safe. I used common sense like I would anywhere else, and even walking back from a bar close to midnight didn’t feel sketchy at all. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I didn’t have any standout interactions, but every encounter was positive and made me feel taken care of. I would absolutely stay here again. It’s a beautiful and affordable place to call home while you soak in all the culture CDMX has to offer. Spend time outside taking it all in, not in your room watching TV.

Be careful what you sign. They make you sign a contract and inventory list before you even get a chance to verify what they claim is on the inventory you are signing. Very suspicious and sketchy. Room leaks water when it rains. Think budget luxury. Rooms are built with low-quality materials. Some room materials are outdated. A table card that tells you to scan the QR code to get room service table instructs you to scan a QR code that doesn’t work. It gives the message “QR CODE IS NO LONGER VALID” when you try it. This is quite disappointing for a barely 8 month new remodel. Their breakfast is a joke. It’s just a coffee pod machine with a tin can with some bread. Hostels have better breakfast. This place is not what they claim it to be. The rooms have bad sound proofing so you can sometimes hear voices and sounds from other rooms.

Modern suites in the older, but chic Roma Norte treelined streets. Super helpful staff. Excellent restaurants and live music nearby. Can’t say enough good things about our long weekend trip to Mexico City and our stay in this elegant hotel!

We urge you not to use Blueground

This review will probably seem like an over-the-top complaint. But our otherwise decent stay with Blueground was marred by awful, borderline scammy, customer service.

We stayed in the Blueground building in Roma Norte, Mexico City.

The good: Clean and comfortable apartment Well equipped kitchen Excellent location Safe building with kind security staff The building is kept clean

The bad: No cleaning equipment, so we had to buy our own dustpan and broom. Had to mop the floor with paper towel and spray. Poor soundproofing between flats. Neighbours television is mounted directly by the bed. No access to the building after 11pm. If you're coming home after that the gate is locked. No privacy. Floor to ceiling windows, which are lovely, look straight into the apartments on the other side of the small courtyard. You can see everything. And so can they. There is no where to hang your clothes to dry. We had to use the kitchen table and chairs for this. You can't use the balcony because of the construction soot in the air that settles on surfaces. Building staff will sometimes decide to unlock your apartment and walk straight in. So make sure you're always modestly dressed.

The ugly: Blueground head office, who manage everything, has no consideration for upholding their end of a contract. The customer service is non-existent and gaslighty. We stayed for 56 days. But for 5 of those days we had intermittent or no electricity. This meant we couldn’t cook, clean, shower, or use any of the appliances, and our food spoiled. Further, there were 2 other days we had to vacate the apartment because they had to rip up and repair the bathroom floor to fix a leak. These things happen. But Blueground refuses to reimburse us for these days despite us having pre-paid for an apartment and utilities we could not use. There was little to no communication about any of these problems. Blueground had our money and completely abandoned us. They did the same thing to two other couples we spoke to on our floor. Be aware, they might do the...

Wow , this place is definitely my top place to stay in the City . It’s my first time visiting and I’m so happy we stayed here . The rooms are clean , fully equipped with a kitchen & everything you need to make yourself a meal . Fridge , microwave, stove Even a washer in the room .

You are local to so many restaurants & bars walking distance , which is a perk .

I felt so safe here since there is security outside to be able to enter the property , someone is also always in the lobby , cameras & codes to be able to access the floors .

Our flight got here early and we were lucky enough there was a room available to be able to do early check in , thank you so much to the manager Angelica for being so helpful with everything .

Definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting ciudad de Mexico I will be staying here again in...
