I’m pretty shocked at the reviews on here of SAINT. This bakery is in my opinion the best in CDMX. I visited everyday and bought many delicious baked goods, bread, pastries, sandwiches, their refrigerator goods, a tote and more. I never was treated with hostility bringing my pet, which I sat with all the time on the patio with. They do not hate animals. You can take your dog here, you just can’t inside. There is no where to eat inside anyways. I clipped my pup to the area right beside the window where she waited for me to go in order and pay. You do not have to wait long to be served. I don’t understand the problem. I get clipping dogs up can give us owners anxiety. But people in general, especially in that area of town look out for each other and are nice to animals. Most bakeries running at that scale, even the cheaper ones like el molido and Esperanza don’t allow dogs inside, even if they are a service animal. (My dog is a registered service animal, and it still doesn’t matter basically anywhere in CDMX) At least they have a place to clip to 🤷🏼♀️, which most places don’t even have that option. SERVICE: I had great service every time ordering at SAINT, and by the end of my month in condesa Alexis, a server, knew my name. And if a human bothers to remember your name these days and welcomes you, they deserve the credit for excellent customer service. They also put up with a lot of entitled tourists, so if anyone was showing annoyance, it may be because of how others have been treating them throughout their shift. I’m learning Spanish, and always use it when ordering but I am not fluent, they gave me kindness and patience with every order. Saint deserves more stars based on the quality of their food and service, not based on if a customer chooses to not clip their dog briefly to order. I very much doubt Saint refused to serve people based on them having a dog. They have a solution to the problem, it’s the customers choice if they want to accept...

I love this place, I come here 2-3 times a week! sandwiches: highly recommend the sandwhich fresco (really fresh, the bread is amazing, lots of vegetables, delicious) and BLT pastries: pain au chocolate, danes frutos rojos, danes fresa, croissant de Almendra are some of my favorites. Their galleta de chocolate is also good, slightly salty. coffee: the espresso they use is a bit too sour/bitter for my liking but it still does the job. This isnt my preferred place to get coffee but the pastries and sandwiches make up for it. The latte has too much milk so I usually order a flat white instead. vibe: there are 6 tables under a shaded structure outside on the street. I’ve never had to wait more than 30 min for a seat, the turnover is pretty quick. I love sitting out here in the morning to drink my coffee and eat a pastry or sandwich.
Service: Service can be a little slow, especially if you’re trying to flag down a waiter to get the check, order more food, or ask for...
Read moreRacist Establishment: I’ve bought bread here once and I was able to bring my dog inside and it was an overall fine experience (not great not awful). But my wife, who is black went here with our same dog and she was not allowed entry. Now I understand that entire staff may not be given the same information, but it was the fact that my wife was patiently waiting outside the establishment to double check with them if they did allow dogs. If they didn’t accept them, she would have simply left our dog outside. She waited and waited outside and she made eye contact several staff members that were walking around the establishment while she said in Spanish, “perdón” “disculpe” and every one in there ignored her. It wasn’t until she stepped inside was when a staff member said no dogs were allowed and she needed to wait outside. She WAS waiting outside and no one came to her nor offered to take her order outside. Needless to say we will never...
