Guys! I've been all over the map. I'm staying at an Airbnb where the kitchen is not very accessible so I've had to eat out every single day for the past two weeks (I'm craving a home cooked meal!). Anyway, you benefit because I've made the rounds and have lots of reviews. lol.
I dog-eared this place because I was looking for good brunch/breakfast spots. I ordered this American egg sandwich--it was very good, aside from being a straight artery-clogger. I asked them to add tomato so I could have some sort of vegetable included. I think they could serve it with salad or fruit or something lighter on the side. Potatoes and bread?! Super heavy.
In all honesty, I wasn't super impressed with their menu. They were very busy however so they are popular with locals. Service was also friendly and very efficient. As such, while I personally rank them a 3 for me, I gave them a 4 since so many folks seem to enjoy eating here and their service...

I had the Mac & Cheese (a tasty spin on a classic) and home-made tomato soup which were fantastic. Also, it's the only place in Mexico City where the coffee is full bodied and tasty (not the awful watered down Americano you get everywhere else in Mexico) that was the perfect finish to a perfect meal. The quirky attention the detail in the décor and plates makes the place feel really homey and cozy. Angela, the owner, is a fantastic host and will bend over backwards to make sure you enjoy your meal. The Huevos En Cazuela is an oven-baked egg dish with tomato sauce, spinach and Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese. I tried mine with sunny-side up eggs and it was just perfect.
