I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at Octavia Casa. Next time we come back to Mexico City, we will definitely be staying there again. If you are like me, and looked at several boutique hotels in the Condesa/Roma Norte area, stop looking and book this hotel. If you want a luxury hotel experience in a small, quaint environment - this is your place.
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and it exceeded expectations on so many fronts: perfect location. Condesa neighborhood is the best area to stay. Easy walk ability to great restaurants and bars. Hotel is on a quiet street but close to great activity and night life. Beautiful streets and neighborhood feel. ambience: this is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I felt like we were in an architectural digest magazine every day. They are incredibly thoughtful and intentional about everything: the style, the quality products/linens, minimalist design but very cozy and welcoming. This was the most relaxing hotel experience we have had in a long time. service: while there is not a hotel bar or restaurant, the staff made themselves readily available for anything we needed. Pepe and Raul were wonderful hosts and helped with anything we needed including evening cocktails/mezcal tasting, restaurant recommendations. They made us feel so at home.
Lastly, we cannot thank the staff of Octavia Casa enough for coming to our rescue immediately when we realized we left our passports at the hotel. They immediately responded to our call and the manager immediately got in his car and drove to us personally at the airport. We are so grateful and just so impressed with how well we were taken care of. You can’t get that at a large hotel or air bnb even. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
We can’t wait to...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews due to lack of time, but on this occasion, I want to make an exception because this place truly deserves it. I am a local resident of Mexico City, but I needed to spend a few days in a different neighborhood from where I live.
Octavia Casa is located on a quiet street in the heart of Condesa, one of my favorite neighborhoods. The space is discreet yet incredibly tasteful— the scents, the lighting, the music, and the art, everything is perfectly curated. The discreet and kind staff made my arrival quick and effortless. I had a dinner reservation since there are plenty of trendy, new restaurants within walking distance, but when I got to the room, I found it so beautiful and cozy that I decided to stay in.
There are only a few rooms, and although the hotel was fully booked, I never saw other guests or heard any noise. The bathroom offers top-quality amenities, and the thoughtful details left in the room make you feel truly welcome. They serve delicious coffee in the mornings, as well as breakfast, and in the evenings, they have an “Honesty Bar” where you can enjoy a mezcal or a glass of wine before heading out to dinner.
I genuinely recommend this place. I know Mexico City very well, and I can confidently say that, for its location and service, it is one of the best places I have stayed. It’s ideal for travelers who enjoy discovering the local side of a destination, in quiet and...
