From the moment I called the restaurant, despite not being able to get a reservation the same day online, the lady on the phone was super friendly. We were here Saturday June 22 around 1 pm. The lady on the phone said not to worry, to bring our family and she could get us a table before it got busy. We were seated and our server Claudia was amazing!!! we were overwhelmed with choices but so hungry. I didn’t even know how to begin for the kids but she sensed what I needed and offered suggestions. Mmmm were they good 👍. she suggested authentic Mexican dishes with interesting ingredients to make it special and memorable. Also knew the kids would prefer non-spicy. It sounded perfect and both loved their food. Us adults also finished every last bit of our food and I loved the presentation on the plates. Gracias Claudia por hacer que nuestro día en el museo terminara perfecto y quitar el stress de decidir sobre la comida. Tu ayuda y sonrisa nos ayudo tanto a relajar como padres y turistas. p.s stuffed squash blossoms, wish we had them back home. much prefer it to chips n salsa

Find food BEFORE coming to the museum. Terrible terrible service. Completely ignored and spoke over us all including our friend who lives here in Mexico City. He purposely ignored what we asked for with our food orders and our requests for bread. It was very obvious that better care was given to locals or Spanish speaking people (even though we had a local that spoke Spanish with us) than people that are obviously tourists. I watched several tables and the ones that were obviously tourists were treated very poorly vs local people. The food was mediocre at best definitely not worth it. They do offer free wifi to read their digital menu but it doesn’t connect not even with three peoples phones. Women’s restrooms were completely out of soap and hand sanitizer. Makes me think how many people aren’t washing their hands. This place needs a major rework to be worthwhile. The menu was also severely restricted many items were not available. Marcos was our waiter.

TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED!!! Food and service: Food is ok, not good but not too bad but at the price, i think it is unreasonable. Nevertheless, I can understand because the position of the restaurant is in the museum. But the thing i was most disappointed is the attitude of the waitress is unacceptable. When we finished the lunch and pay the bill, the waitress appeared and begged for the tip. I felt quite shocked but still gave her 100 peso. But she was still unhappy so i asked how much she want. She said “at least 10%” so i gave her 100 more pesos. I need to say more: During cleaning the table, a waiter clumsily pilled sauce and food on my father’s trousers. So i was really unhappy at all with the service but they still begged for tips. I think the tip is a voluntary, a customer can tip if they are satisfied, not be required like this. I will never come back

Nice atmosphere. Shaded tables outside and inside. 3.5 out of 5 stars. Frustrating to get menu via QR code, just would not load on my phone. Hostess had to pull up on a screen at the cashier's where I had to read it quickly. Didn't give me a chance to study menu and order more carefully. Ordered rib eye de chicarron with quacamole served with corn tortillas. It was ok. Not what I thought it would be, but I was starving. Nice giant cafe latte. Service was very good. They tried very hard to be helpful. If not for menu snafu, probably would rate four stars. But took 10 minutes fooling with QR code unsuccessfully. No paper menus were available as backup. I'm tech-savvy, so I don't know why it wouldn't work for me.

Be prepared to spend lots of money on bad food. While the presentation is excellent, there's absolutely no flavor and nothing special about the dishes. My chicken had absolutely no flavor and was served cold. Even a common dish like beef enchiladas they managed to botch. I would plan to bring your own snacks to the museum and not to visit this restaurant for food. That said I HIGHLY recommend stopping by for a glass of tascalate. It was absolutely phenomenal even without the mezcal and I'm not sure where else you can find a drink like this. It's kid friendly if you don't include the alcohol and I recommend it for everyone.

I arrived a little early for lunch so I decided to return later when lunch was available. Upon returning, another host refused to seat me outside while the earlier one had no qualms about it. Not a great start. The food was average. I ordered the cochinita pibil upon the sever's recommendation. I was surprised it arrived fairly fast. The meal was barely warm and the flavor a little mild for my liking. I need flavors to pop and hit all my taste buds. This unfortunately didn't. My first choice of dessert was not available, so the second choice of flan with a plantain ice cream proved to be the one to save the meal.
