Overall is good, the drinks and the food also good. The reason why I gave 2 stars because …. I used to come here regularly with my daughter to spend morning with her. But today (June 15,2022) Me, My Husband and My Daughter try to find a seat for us and we saw two tables that set together and we asked to the man who sit there and he said we can pull one of the table away (like 1/2 meters away only). And one of their server come to us and said in Spanish that we can’t do that, the man try to explained to him that the seat is like for 5 person and he’s alone and don’t mind we moved the table. But the Server insisted that we can’t do that and he said that The Manager (his name is Luis, and he refused to give his last name because of company regulation) the one who asked. I try to come inside and talk to Luis about what happened. I don’t speak Spanish and I was trying to explain to him in English and he just said something in Spanish and I said no spanish sorry, but he refused to listen and kept talking in Spanish, I said again no Spanish and he just left me and I was trying to call him again and he just ignored me. The kindly man explained to the other server (OSCAR) in Spanish what we really trying to do with the table. OSCAR being nice and said he’s apologize for what happened, the truth is the purpose for combined the tables because of the limits that the City gave to them (only 6 tables max). And that man called Luis and asked why he’s being so rude to me and he just explain that’s the rules and left without saying sorry (arrogantly) In my opinion the store in Polanco area which is lots of foreigners live there, even though he doesn’t speaks Spanish at least he has a manners not to ignore when people trying to talk to him (especially to the Costumer). So to THE OWNER of Bakers please consider OSCAR that’s not a Manager but has a good attitude and great customer service compared to Luis to be your NEW MANAGER. We have tried having matcha and golden milk beverages with oat milk, coconut milk, lactose free milk and even whole milk. Every single time the beverage comes back tasting like a glass of plain milk. The problem, as we witnessed today, is the amount of powder matcha or turmeric they put in the drink. We asked the barista to double the amount, his response was: I am only allowed to put 2 grms, if I go over the limit they charge me the difference. Luis, the supervisor in charge, said. There was a woman at the counter, she saw us but did even ask if we needed a table. I asked the guy for a table of 3, and thought he’d make one for us but he went inside and didn’t come back. We waited for 15min of nothing so I asked the barista lady for a table. Finally they got us a table. We were reading the menu so I obviously thought the guy would approach to us to order but no he left. There were two women who had come later than us but he took their orders but not ours.
