Ta marbuta is a beautiful kiosk located in la roma norte. This place caught my eyes while walking because because I thought the name was fun as it’s an arabic letter and I thought the name was very original.
The great atmosphere and the decoration at this kiosk reminded me of home, lebanon (it also gave me some Mediterranean/middle eastern vibes).
While i sat the owner of the kiosk promptly greated and suggested me to try his falafel.
The menu is small, simple and compact you won’t get lost for hours to choose an option as the basics necessities cannot be messed with. Additionally this place surprised me with very affordable prices compared to other places.
I gladly ended up taking his recommendation, and i asked for the falafel.
The owner is called Elie, he’s a young man full of energy, always smiling and very friendly. He was happy to be talking with his customers while he was cooking for us.
After a couple of minutes of waiting the falafel was ready, i have nothing to say about it because it was really tasty and it is very rare for me to eat lebanese food outside of lebanon because i have never been lucky overseas as i’ve never found the same flavors i have back home. Elie you nailed it, the falafel was on point, the flavors, the spices, your beautiful service were there thank you for your great...
Read moreWorld-class falafel in a friendly environment! It's obvious that a lot of love goes into the food here, along with a great deal of care in the preparation and composition of every dish. Every plate looks and tastes fresh, and it's all seasoned perfectly.
As someone who grew up in the Mediterranean, I've eaten more than my fair share of falafel over the years! Ta-Marbuta's holds up against the very best I've had anywhere, which is even more impressive for a cozy street stall. Do yourself a favour and swing by to get your fix of Lebanese food from people who really care about their cuisine and...

The chef and owner is Lebanese, he was soooo friendly and made fresh falafels for every wrap we ordered. Originally I ordered one and I ended up ordering another because they were so delicious!
The ambience was really cool too! Everyone was so friendly and we even got to order beers while we hung out for a bit after.
I would 100% recommend this Lebanese food stand!! Especially if you are looking for something other than Mexican food...
