Tacos San Burgos Ángel — Restaurant in Mexico City

This establishment unequivocally surpassed my expectations. The cuisine was delectable! Having savored Tacos and Gringas across various parts of the city and even the country, I can confidently say that this venue offers some of the finest flavors I have ever encountered. The most remarkable aspect is the affordability of the prices. I have dined at more expensive restaurants where the food did not live up to the high costs, but here, the prices are not only reasonable, the culinary experience far exceeds the cost.

Marcos, the gentleman expertly preparing the Al-Pastor, infused his cooking with passion, which was evident in both the taste and presentation of the dishes. Additionally, the customer service was exemplary. Diego, who attended to my needs, was exceptionally professional, respectful, and ensured that all my requirements were met promptly.

Overall, I highly recommend this place and eagerly anticipate my next visit. They accept both cash and card payments. While there are paid street parking spots nearby, I would suggest parking further away and walking, or simply taking an Uber or DiDi for...

I usually hate on spots like this. Tacos are slightly overpriced, it’s a pretty large establishment, and it doesn’t hit the same as street tacos. BUT… the tacos here are truly Amazing! This spot is one of the very few I’ve found where I can get Cabeza and Lengua tacos. Their beef here is incredible, and their lengua is top notch. I dont think their pastor is anything special, but their soups are great. Gringas are also very very good. They make all their dough in house for the tacos and gringas. Luego de una triste e insípida visita an Office Depot, salimos sin inspiración pero con algo de hambre a la calle. Lo primero que vimos fue a San Burgos, y como la motivación era baja simplemente ingresamos con poca expectativa de mejorar nuestra tarde.

De entrada me sentí como si me recibieran en la casa de mi tía, a esa que nunca veo pero que si aparezco me recibe como si hubiese llegado Chayanne en persona a comerse un taco antes del concierto. Gran atención!

Observamos el espacio. Todo ordenado y limpio. Cada uno de los colaboradores hacendosos y atentos.

Nos sentamos mientras escuchábamos a La Guzmán cantando que sería eternamente bella. El menú nos sorprendió por su variedad auténtica (esto no es artificialmente diseñado como en Orinoco).

Ordenamos tacos de arrachera, cabeza, lengua, pastor y campechanos. Lo acompañamos de una orden de guacamole y aunque tienen toda una sección de aguas frescas, obviamente nos tomamos unas cervezas porque era lo único digno de acompañar a los esperados tacos.

En este punto abro la caja de Pandora y tengo que decirles que los tacos son de tortilla chica. En la opinión de este humilde su servidor- el mejor tamaño para degustar el taco, no quedar con el bigote lleno de longaniza y tener espacio para probar más variedad.

La eficiencia de Don Ignacio en su atención merece un apartado. Atento, respetuoso, anticipando cada necesidad removiendo los platos conforme avanzaba la comida e informando con gran detalle la excelente variedad de salsas a disposición.

Con igual rapidez llegaron los tacos. Frescos, de altísima calidad y un sabor bendecido desde el Cerrito de Tepeyac. No digo más para que vengan a probar y me agradezcan.

Cuando llegó la cuenta, Nacho trajo dos sorpresas. Primero, la terminal para pagar con tarjeta (por que nadie hace eso?!), y segundo: precios razonables para el que camina por Hamburgo en busca de lo que le hace falta.
