Americans BEWARE, the servers will definitely try to take advantage of your tipping. I partially grew up in Mexico City, but my boyfriend is American. The service today was not great, it took a really long time to order and close out our tab. However, we totally understood since it was busy. Eventually my boyfriend stood up to go close out with cashier since our server didn’t return. The server showed up at that point and asked him how much he wanted to tip and suggested 20% (which is usually reserved for high end service in Mexico ). We always do the BBQ at the table which has never disappointed. The side dishes that are included are typical Korean, and never lack flavor. Their red salsa and Kimchi are always wonderful. We typically order another dish or two including the Ramen, which is always good, but the BBQ here is what shines. Read moreOnce you get upstairs the atmosphere is good. The entrance downstairs is not inviting. The bonchan was welcome but just ok, a little bland. We have the scallion squid pancakes which is a huge portion and would only be appropriate for a larger group. Flavor ok but could use a little more flavor. The bulgogi bibimbap was decent; again could use a little more flavor. Staff were very nice and the food came out fast. Most customers seemed pretty happy.
