Where do you start with this one?
I would recommend avoiding this restaurant and looking elsewhere.
I review a lot of places, and normally there is some form of consistency across the board. Here, however, they seem to nail things whilst simultaneously failing in other.
Let's start with the cut on my leg caused by a nail sticking out of the side of the chair leg. How does a nail end up going all the way through sticking out the side? What more can I say?
The food was weirdly flavourful, but still fraught with danger. In the Balti Gosht that I ordered, I was surprised to find a bone. I had the lamb dish, how does this happen?
The chicken tikka masala, again, had good flavours, but the member of our party who ordered it said the chicken was undercooked. Being too shy to do so, they did not wish to complain.
One dish came with only a handful of pieces of meat, so few that after mentioning it to the waiter it was topped up.
Finally, on the food front, the apple cake. Guess what, it was lovely, but the inside was so cold I think I crunched on ice.
You see the problem here. Good flavours, but overall a quite miserable experience, and before we had finished a member of the party had already suggested going elsewhere next time we fancy a curry.
The staff were a rare highlight, they were attentive and quick to act on anything mentioned. They were also polite and served with a smile, this weirdly made me less angry at the time.
To top it off, for the experience had I would consider this far too overpriced.
Sadly, I will not be returning here and if I am being honest, I would avoid it...
Read moreThis place offers one of the best Indian cuisines. The place is big, ample place to sit and enjoy food. The view it offers is also good as it is a corner place and the area is usually quiet.
Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options were really tasty. They do prepare food based on your preferences. Deserts were good too.
The food is a little bit on costlier side, but you won't mind spending once you taste the food here.
Few points to note: There is parking available nearby They do accept credit cards including american express Easy to find, corner place and pretty big for that matter Food is little expensive Things you can try:
My second visit here and it unfortunately could not be more different...I think i must of only spent 30mins here. My main arrived 3 mins after my starter and I had to ask for it to be packed for takeaway while I was still eating my starter! In fact it took longer for me to get my napkin that I had to ask young waitress multiple times. I would remind owners that people come here for dining experience and not to be treated like your at McDonalds.
You know it will be good Indian food when you walk into a restaurant and there's only Indians eating there... Starter I had samosa chaat....absolutely fantastic, it had my taste buds going. Main was balti ghost and aloo mutter....really liked meat dish but not so much veggie dish. Potato in veggie dish tasted raw. Dessert I forgot name but was good. I'll definitely come...
