It makes me sad to not give 5 stars because they make AMAZING cakes. I‘d definitely give 5 stars for the cakes. However, when I ordered an entire cake for a birthday, the whole process was chaotic, very unpleasant and quite frankly disappointing. So I‘d give 1 star for this.

I ordered the cake through Whatsapp on a Tuesday to be picked up on the following Monday, went by the store the next day to pay, they confirmed the pickup on Monday afternoon once again. Two days later they call me to tell me that they’re closed on Monday due to a national holiday - something they should have been aware of when I placed the order and when they confirmed pickup on Monday TWICE. I needed the cake for a birthday on Tuesday morning, so when they offered me to pick up the cake on Sunday evening I declined because I didn’t want a 2 day old cake for the birthday. So we agreed on Tuesday 9am as pickup time. Come Tuesday, I thought I’d give them a bit more time so the cake would be ready when I come and waited until 10am to come pick it up. But oh, surprise, they suddenly had never heard of my order, then tried to explain to me that I needed to order and pay in advance (duh!) and could not just simply come by to pick up a cake. I showed them the Whatsapp conversation, then they started to claim I hadn’t yet paid for the cake - luckily I still had the receipt in my purse, what a lucky coincidence. Then they started getting hectic, I saw the lady pull two cake bases wrapped in plastic foil out of the fridge (remember, they were closed the day before and had forgotten about my order so they MUST have had to use old cake bases from at least Sunday). I noticed it, but was so desperate at this point that I didn’t say anything. Meanwhile I was texting with who I assume is the owner on Whatsapp who straightup lied to me saying, I quote, „Don’t worry, your cake is fresh.“ They told me the cake would be ready in 10 minutes so I left and took a little walk and then came back for the cake which was, indeed, ready.

I have tried their cakes before and that’s how I know for 100% that this was not a fresh cake. The cake layers were hard and dry, in fact so dry that I doubt they were from even Sunday. They’re normally fluffy and juicy and delightful and this was basically a cake made of two chewy cookies with frosting on top. Honestly, as much as it pains me and even though it’s probably more of a punishment for me than them, I will not come back here ever again. Horrible customer service and completely...

Es uno de nuestros lugares favoritos para pasteles y postres. En temporada navideña no puedes perderte el pastel de gengibre y betún de Maple, es una exquisités que solo encontrarás en temporada navideña, así como las tartas que en esta ocasión es de ponche de frutas. Los demás pasteles puedes elegirlos a ojos cerrados, según tu preferencia tres leches, chocolate, zanahoria, etc. No importa el que elijas siempre estarás satisfecho. En esta ocasión diciembre 2021 el costo del pastel de gengibre fue de $520.00 el grande para 20 personas aprox, el chico creo está en $380 para 10 personas aprox. Si quieres probar algo rico y de buena calidad no dudes en ir por uno entero o puedes pedir rebanadas y así conocerás todos, aunque eso es garantía de que no podrás decirte por uno solo. En Wreposteria encontrarás una buena propuesta de pasteles, galletas, entre otra variedad de postres. Incluso, algunos de temporada, muy especiales.

Confieso que tiene 2 años que conocí Wrepostería y sus pasteles me habían parecido aceptables. Pero en esta ocasión, mi perspectiva cambió y noté que mejoraron sus técnicas. Pues los pasteles ahora ya tienen buena textura y no son empalagosos.

Respecto a los precio: están iguales a lo que encuentras en la zona. Recomiendo el pastel bruce y el brownie si te gusta el chocolate. Las galletas son muy buenas también. Los panqués tienen buen sabor, solo que el crumble está de más y lo vuelve más dulce.

PD: para conprar pasteles completos debe de ser con 2 días de anticipación.
