This pigpen should be closed down tonight, possibly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve had better food in shopping malls by far. Bland, tasteless, but no much worse than that, taste like it came out of the kitchen sink after they did the dishes. The noodles were like mush and goo, so disgraceful that all I can tell you is please don’t ever eat at this disgraceful disgusting dive, where clearly the people don’t care to give you anything of any class, just pure trash. And sadly, the pictures on the website make it look like they put nice whole shrimp in the Ramen soup, but there was maybe two little shrimp all chopped in small pieces but worse than that, It tasted so terrible that I didn’t even care about that issue; what an absolute pig pen.
So they had the nerve to reply , and the dish most certainly did have shrimp, or should I say they were supposed to have shrimp in them? That’s what Sopa de Camarones has isn’t it or am I mistaken? And you try to literally excuse yourself by saying that I should come into the restaurant to have a good meal. I’ve ordered Chinese takeout hundreds of times and had excellent meals. You’re making excuses for your own trash. If this doesn’t tell you, what a poor excuse for a restaurant this is, then I suppose...
Read moreAfter trying several restaurants recommended by local friend and leaving deeply disappointed, I decided to try this restaurant. I've walked by on multiple occasions and always thought that it reminded me of the Chinese restaurants that I was used to in Chinatown (New York City). I was surprised by some of the prices, I thought they were a bit high for Mexico City, but the reality is that this restaurant is more family style rather than serving individual portions. Therefore, with that in mind, the prices are not terrible for traditional Chinese food and large shareable servings. I did have a long wait for my order but, when the food arrived, I was pleasantly surprised and it was delicious. Through conversations, the fact that this restaurant is mostly frequented by Asians seems to be intimidating for Mexicans. However, it could also be that Mexicans are not yet used to authentic Chinese flavors. I think it will be difficult to find a more authentic Chinese cuisine experience in CDMX and I highly recommend giving it a try for yourself...
Read moreWent because we wanted Baozi. We were the only table in there and yet the service was so slow. It shouldn’t take 30min to get a very simple snack.
Food: we ordered the pan de cerdo (Baozi) and received xiao long bao instead. We had already waited way too long for them so we just ate and paid and left quickly. Dumplings were not good.
No water or tea was served. No music or background noise so the place is completely silent and awkward. The owner is smoking indoors.
Weird way to run a business. I don’t give out bad reviews ever but this was very bad. Reviews are definitely too high...
