The food was delicious! Guacamole great, seafood tacos really good, enchiladas also good. Recommend the Tacos Gobernador! Best beans I've tried so far during my visit to Mexico, highly recommend giving them a try.
Drinks could use some work - for example the coconut mojito lacked some sweetness and maybe needed a little lime. The mango daiquiri tasted like it was cut with orange juice, but they gave us pureed mango to remedy that. The Strawberry margarita was perfect!
Service was wonderful! A lot of the restaurants didn't allow personal drinks to be brought in, but they didn't mind that I brought my water, which was really kind of them. Also, a lot of the restaurants are really pushy about trying to get customers, but they were also really low-key and kind about it, moreso than any of the others, which we really appreciated.

Read moreBeing totally honest, you are coming here for the views. Sunset, horses on the beach, maybe a skimpy swimsuit. Still, food and beverages matter. Here they were good, but lacking the little bit that would make them great. For 290 pesos, big city American prices, you expect a Cadillac Margarita with some kick. Mine had none, so I switched to Corona in a bottle. Still over priced but at least it was cold and consistent . There were no whole snapper left and the chips and pico came out just before the main courses. For dinner we had the excellent stroganoff and the decent pork chops that would have greatly benefited from less time on the grill.
There are vendors galore. We spent more on them than dinner and had absolutely no need for the trinkets that they were selling, but we wanted them to eat too. Bring some cash and offer them half of what they ask and it won't turn...
Read morethis place is amazing! it was suggested that we try it when we found Mr and Mrs Fish closed for the off-season and so glad we did! I had the chimichanga for 200 pesos and it came with guacamole, rice and watermelon on the side along with sour cream and cheese. my partner had the shrimp fajitas which also came with sides for 280 pesos. this was by far the best meal we've had in bucerias! the food was mild but still so flavorful. top quality ingredients and so much food we could have easily shared a plate. my partner got 5 fajitas out if his. the staff were very pleasant and attentive. the decor is charming and there are tables on the beach if you prefer to eat outdoors. overall a five star-plus rating; can't wait to go back (though it'll be tough to choose between this place and Mr and Mrs Fish which is so so...
