Bistro Cobojo exceeded my expectations!! We arrived for our stay at “Villa Cobojo” in time for brunch. We have been watching Facebook posts and reviews on “Bistro Cobojo” for awhile now and knew we just had to try it out!

I had the Chilaquiles with green sauce, which was quite seriously THE BEST I have ever had! The tortillas were just the right amount of crispy and packed with so much flavour; the toppings of crème fraiche, aged cheese, onions and cilantro and avocado was so fresh it just took it to another level!!

My partner has not travelled to Mexico as much so played it safe with Eggs of your Choice with Bacon and it was done perfectly! I also had a side of bacon with my breakfast, it reminded me a lot of home cured bacon/ham from my rural routes, it was cooked crispy and had the perfect amount of saltiness!

There were lots of great drink options, many healthy juice/smoothie options and specialty coffee/tea options! We settled on a chocolate shake and Strawberry shake. Both were smooth and delicious with a hint of cinnamon and banana, definitely more of a specialty shake!

My partner shared my Chilaquiles and was amazed, now he wants to go back and have it again, he loved it! (I will have to get a picture on our next visit)!

As for the Bistro, it is Beautifully decorated, it’s spacious, airy, bright and clean, and you can tell that there has been lots of attention given to the details. The ambience is relaxing, cosy, and peaceful with a little bit of hip thrown in! (You will know what I mean when you check it out for yourself). The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and attentive and had a pretty good command of the English language which made it easier for us travelling from Canada.

I forgot to mention the Bakery/Specialty coffee area…we didn’t try anything yet but the aromas were amazing and everything looked fresh and delicious! We will definitely be back for the Maple Cinnamon Bun...

I just left your restaurant very disappointed due to the service provided by your manager. My husband and I arrived, and a waitress directed us to tables at the back. My husband went straight there. However, a girl who seems to be the manager of the waitstaff (I deduce this because I'm a frequent customer) informed us that we had to wait for 20 to 30 minutes (although we didn't see any line or people waiting outside). Despite that, we were about to enter without any issue, and we said, "ok." She had an expression as if she didn't like it, and I said, "Do you want us to leave and respect your waiting list?" To which she replied, "Well, no, you've already taken the table, so we'll serve you now."

This response was uncomfortable for both my husband and me, so we decided to leave the restaurant. As a Mexican, I regret knowing that this probably wouldn't happen if we were foreigners, as locals are the only ones who come during the low season. But now that there are more foreign visitors, they prefer to give them a table over a Mexican.

I don't plan to return, and I won't recommend the restaurant anymore. It was unfortunate the service we experienced at Bistro...

I came here during restaurant week and had a fabulous dinner. Tuna tostada, shrimp risotto and peach dessert. There was a bit of a language barrier with the waitress. Although the menu had an English translation, for some reason the pork in the risotto dish was still in Spanish. I had informed her that I didn’t eat meat and asked if there was meat in the risotto dish, and she said “no, it’s rice” so I assumed the word I didn’t know was the type of rice. When the dish came out, I saw the pork and tried to explain again that I don’t eat meat, but she wasn’t understanding. I used my phone to translate and then she asked if chicken was okay… I finally just asked for shrimp and she spoke to the chef to see if he could substitute. He did and it was fantastic. I am still giving 5 stars because despite the confusion, they were all very nice and accommodating. Very reasonably priced as well. I paid twice as much for a shrimp risotto at another place and it did not come anywhere close to this one. The food was hot and very flavorful. Service was...

Place has a good atmosphere, very modern and clean kitchen & spaces, servers were nice and friendly, but definitely a lot of opportunity areas to improve: -My 9 year old boy order was forgotten, I had to ask for it once all the rest of the plates were on the table, seemed like they forgot to ordered and didn’t apologize or were emphatic on the situation, and just gave me the bill w that in it, like nothing happened, even though my kid ate by himself at the end. -My baby (1 year old) eggs had shells in and were over cooked (dry) -I finished my Latte and was never offered more (Total lack of up-selling skills) -Refried beans on a kids plate we’re spicy -Cheap Commercial Ham on a $185 sandwich It was my first time there with my family and I hope they consider these details for future improvements, place should be top notch service considering the prices and atmosphere they have set up. Sincerely Daniel.
