Terra Cafe & Bar Bucerias — Restaurant in Nayarit

We were staying at the Hotel Palmeras. On our last day, we had breakfast here. It was great. Everything was fresh, and the service was fantastic. Reasonable prices. After we ate, we returned to our room to pack up and check out. After checking out, we called for an Uber to take us to the airport. We got concerned when no Uber would come. The hotel called a cab for us, but when the cab arrived, he informed us the highway was closed for 2 to 3 hours due to the Ironman. Needless to say, we were panicked. We were trying to get hold of our airline to see if we could get a later flight. One of the people working at the restaurant realized what was happening. I'm not sure if he was the manager or not, but he was so helpful and caring. Somehow, he managed to get a hold of a cab driver who would take us to the airport through the backroads. We managed to get there with 30 minutes to spare. I can't tell you how grateful we are to this individual. He did not need to help us, but he did. My only regret is that we did not get his name. We are so very thankful to him. Needless to say, we will definitely...

Lia, Christian, Adrian, Hazel, and Jenny took such great care of us while we stayed at Palmeras Hotel at Terra Cafe just at the entrance to this beautiful refurbished Mexican Hotel. What a fantastic menu with vegetarian options for breakfast and lunch. And the coffee is so good. Mejor en del mundo!! Best in the world!! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The freshness of Mexico and gastronomy to die for. We are honored to have the privilege of enjoying this wonderful cafe. Muchas Gracias mis amigos!!

We will be back if we are lucky and we will always remember our time here.

La experiencia en este lugar fue sumamente decepcionante. Fuimos un grupo de 6 personas y no quisieron juntar otra mesa para acomodarnos, a pesar de que claramente no cabíamos cuando llegó la comida. Además, no contaban con agua, por lo que no había servicio de baños, algo que nos pareció inadmisible.

Tienen publicidad engañosa: anuncian un 2x1 en chilaquiles y hot cakes, pero no aplican la promoción ni explican claramente cómo funciona. La atención del encargado dejó mucho que desear; fue grosero y mostró mala actitud durante todo el tiempo que estuvimos ahí.

Lamentablemente, también notamos un trato diferente hacia los clientes mexicanos en comparación con los extranjeros, lo que nos dejó una pésima impresión.

Definitivamente no recomendaría este lugar, habiendo muchas más opciones.

Our experience at this place was extremely disappointing. We were a group of six, and they refused to join another table for us, even though it was clear we didn’t have enough space once the food arrived. Additionally, they didn’t have running water, so there were no bathrooms available, which is unacceptable.

They also have misleading advertising: they promote a 2-for-1 deal on chilaquiles and pancakes, but they don’t honor it or explain the promotion clearly. The manager’s attitude was terrible—he was rude and unfriendly throughout our visit.

Unfortunately, we also noticed a big difference in how they treat Mexican customers versus foreigners, which left an awful impression.
