El Cafecito de Mita — Restaurant in Nayarit

El Cafecito de Mita has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and efficient service, but the food didn’t quite meet my expectations. I ordered takeout and there was a short line at the cashier. After a quick wait, I was able to place my order.

The Avocado toast had way too much cucumber which somehow overpowered any other taste with blandness. The Acai was good, with the coconut bits in there, but otherwise pretty standard. The same with the cinnamon roll, good, but didn't stand out from many other places. I really liked the banana and peanut butter toast, it was thick, full of peanut butter and a large chunk of banana and strawberries.

Parking was a little bit of a hassle, but I was able to find a spot close to the store. The cafe takes credit card, making...

I drive 40 mins to eat at this place; it’s so good! My favourites: the breakfast burrito (with the best homemade chipotle mayo I’ve ever had), the coffee, the banana bread. Everything I have tried has been great but those 3 are my favourites. Fun bonus: if it’s Saturday morning there is a fresh fruit stand served out of a car that parks out front (not associated with cafecito). But not just any car… it’s a regular car, with the back of another car attached....

The teller is PAINFULLY slow, creating the most long and inefficient line EVER. Zero awareness surrounding efficiency and redundancies that create longgggg wait time. It’s maddening. Otherwise this place is top notch. Items always come out of the kitchen promptly. and it’s super good spot. One of the most gorgeous on the Peninsula in terms of cafes.
