So I went there yesterday night with wife and father in law. I ordered tuna steak, they ordered hamburger. First impression, my tuna steak only comes with like a spun size of banana puree and some salad. I had to wait before they bring me my cup of wine yet like that I finished after few fork. I was still starving after that. My wife tried it and same as me, told me it wasn't very tasty. For a 290 pesos plate it's kind of bad but ok doesn't matter I'm here to enjoy family time the view is beautiful. Then we ordered some cappuccinos, they arrived almost cold, when asking the waiter he only says that he personally like it that way but understand most clients like it warm... Didn't offer to just idk add steam or even microwave it. Well the chairs are kind of uncomfy too, my back hurts this morning. But what really made me write this review is that coming back home, 2 hours later I started to feel dizzy. Could sleep for about a hour before I had to ruch to the toilet with strong diarrhée and started to puke all night long. My wife did puke a little bit as well later like 3 times. So I don't know if they broke the cold chain or if this tuna was bad, it had no much flavor but not bad neither. I live in Mexico full time and go often eating out I never had this problem before. We were in Punta De Mita for 4 days and had dinner here twice, it was that good!! The first time we came here we had the raspberry margarita and the passion fruit margarita to start with the calamari and the roasted artichoke hearts followed by a grilled ribeye with roasted vegetables for dinner. The following evening we came back once again for their award winning margaritas. Dinner we ordered lobster ravioli in a delectable cream sauce, raw tuna chilaquiles, beet salad, filet mignon with whipped potatoes, and seared salmon with risotto! The waiters, staff, and owners are familiar with super sensitive food allergies including celiacs, gluten free, and Leticia is a vegan herself. Louis is super knowledgeable and speaks great English also. The chefs make excellent dishes and separate foods including during prep time. I feel great after eating here and I am super sensitive to gluten . The chefs even knew to tell me that their corn tortillas are made in a factory where there is both corn and gluten so it wouldn't be safe for me even though they could prep the corn tortillas separately themselves.
