If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Hands down, this was the best sushi I’ve ever had—and I don’t say that lightly. From the moment I sat down, I could tell I was in for something special. Every piece was a work of art: delicate, fresh, perfectly balanced, and so thoughtfully crafted it almost felt like a spiritual experience. The fish melted in my mouth—silky, flavorful, and unbelievably fresh. The rice? Subtly seasoned and held together with the precision of a master. Even the wasabi and soy sauce were next level. I honestly didn’t know sushi could taste like this. It wasn’t just a meal—it was a journey. The ambiance was intimate and calming, and the service was impeccable. The chef clearly takes pride in every detail. You can taste the passion in every bite. I’ve had sushi in different places—but this place? This blew them all away. I’m still dreaming about it. If you’re a sushi lover, run—don’t walk. This is where sushi becomes poetry.

We usually get sushi omakase on our anniversary or Valentine’s Day. We were in the area for our 5 year anniversary and this place ranks among the best sushi places we have ever been to. All three sushi chefs behind the counter are from Tokyo and extremely skilled. The service was incredible! We also noticed the staff going out of their way at other tables to ensure great service to all customers. We sat at the bar with chef Yosuke. He was informative, funny, and created some tasty pieces. Omakase lineup was perfect with some very traditional cuts and some combos that I’ve never tried before. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in town.

What a delightful fresh and authentic little hidden gem! We met the owner and his stuff, amazing. Personal customer service, non stop attentive, fresh fish ever, toro melted in my mouth, tempura was large and fulfilling, dressers for our Anniversary was surprising. Ones again stayed at Conrad and zero recognition at Punta di Mita for our Anniversary, this restaurant one thing was reminded by Bill , the butler to surprise us, one sweet attempt at least from him. We highly recommend this place🩷 🍣

Have to change my rating from 4 * to 1* as I got food poisoning in the middle of the night after having dinner here on Christmas day. Middle of the night, stomach cramp, chill, fever. Very scary as we weren't not sure what caused it. All symptoms are gone by mid morning the next day but belly still tender. 2 days have passed and all is well. So be very careful to have sushi in a foreign country. Hate to give bad reviews to any business but I think it's important for people to know the health risk and hope the restaurant realize seafood...
