Las Flores — Restaurant in Nayarit

This is a real review. NOT the most enjoyable dining experience. Place is inviting, good ambiance, good service BUT the food is not worth the money, very pricey. My wife and her friend ordered the fillet mignon that was supposed to came with bacon and asparagus, Mine was supposed to be the fish with shrimp and garlic sauce. Well, the fillet mignon orders DID NOT came with the standard bacon and no asparagus, with the looks of it, it was not a real fillet mignon , the round thick piece of beef that you are used to, this was flat and thin, with just a few slices of boiled carrots and the "fancy" molded rice. Mine , very skimpy layer of the garlic sauce. Complained to the waiter, who eventually passed the buck to the chef and then the chef to the manager. The excuse for the lack of food on our plates was "we did not have the ingredients" seriously? I told them that in that case ,tell the customers you lack of ingredients and offer another option from the menu, but do not serve half portions and expect to pay full price. He offered to give us a "substancial" discount to our bill.... when I got it, a laughing 20% discount,... Now lets mention the appetizer , zuchinni sticks, only 3 of them! that was supposed to be shared, one chicken nugget is 3 times biger and thicker, than those "sticks". Again, overpriced sticks. Bottom line, DO NOT waste you time and money , there are better places to eat in Bucerias with good portions ALL the ingredients and better prices and they will not fill you up with bread while you wait about an hour for your food to arrive...

We went to Las Flores on 2 4 1 pasta night. My husband ordered the spaghetti bolognese and I ordered the lasagne bolognese as well as a green salad. All the portions were generous. Had I known salad came with the lasagne, I wouldn't have ordered a salad. I gave both the food and service a 3 because I feel the waiters should have told me salad came with the lasagne and I was a little disa6with the lasagne. My hu6loved the spaghetti. Had to come and shout out Las Flores Bucerias Stumbled upon it when looking for a dinner spot tonight. Heard live music and had to check it out. We were greeted warmly by a manager and the owner when we walked up to look at the menu. We had a great table by the musician playing some great music. The menu has all sorts of options - seafood dishes, pasta and some meat options. I had shrimp fajitas - the best and freshest I have ever had. We were all blown away by the food and atmosphere.
