My first visit to a place like this in Monterrey or Mexico for that matter. Coffee was okay. The bread items I tried were okay too. Nothing artisanal about it - fairly standard chain cafe quality. On positive side coffee mug was cool. I though it was a bit odd all customers were dressed in black but guess what... it was all their staff - sat at random chairs and on their phones. Almost everyone of them. Decor is very plain and meh.. feels likes a box. All windows are translucent with no outside view and inside is full of pseudo-posh brats. I would give 2.5 out of 5 stars but take 0.5 extra as a gesture of me really liking Mexico...
Read moreLa pistola has very good specialty coffee sources from the region. You might need to wait for a couple of minutes for a good brew but it is Ok believe me. Didn't find another specialty coffee shop when I was in San Pedro, there might be. You can also buy coffee beans and gears too. They also have a great charity going on called cafe oficial for the local police force, respect!
The bakery Bread is also nice and have a wide selection of muffins and pastries of all sorts. They also serve some hot breakfast, thought I just grabbed a lovely pain au chocolate filled with nice...
