🥙I ordered the juice of the week with mango, pineapple, lemon and a pinch of caradmon ($70) and it was devine. The chickpea bowl ($145) was also very good and medium size was enough (they offer two sizes).

💵Price: You may pay a little more for a meal made with organic, fresh, local ingredients compared to a vegetarian dish in a conventional restaurant (most of the time lacking protein or fiber sources) but food is of the highest quality and simply tastes much better. Read moreUpstairs (stairs, escalator or elevator) at the upscale and attractive Casa de Barro shopping mini-mall on Reforma and Quintana Roo. Small but classy contemporary space, open kitchen, food prepared at the moment. The very fresh and healthy dishes here are a real treat. Prices are very good for the food quality and presentation. I really enjoy the falafel appetizer that comes on green sprouts and ribbons of pickled cucumbers. For me, it makes the perfect filling light lunch. The surprisingly yummy crispy vegetarian meatballs may become a new favorite, though . A friend raves about the avocado toast at breakfast and brunch served until 1:00 pm. Various types of poke bowls (lentil, noodle, rice, etc) are available at lunch and dinner in two sizes. Beverages, juices, shakes and smoothies are original and flavorful.
It's always a pleasure to see the charming smile of our favorite server, Brando, a truly gentle and welcoming fellow. We like to sit at a table outside, but there are larger inside tables for inclement days. The view of the parking lot below is largely obscured by big plants. Tasty and pretty food with no guilt. The small bathroom is well- equipped and clean. There's another branch in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, that we're going to try out next week when we're there for the...
Read moreThis place is for the looks, not the flavor. They get one star for the nice decor and kind service but everything else was a mess.
My avocado toast with egg was a disaster. It was aesthetically pretty when served, but the toast was not served in a logical manner. It was divided with egg on one side, avocado on the other, cilantro aioli that was oozing all over the place, the bread wasn’t sufficiently toasted so everything fell through the soggy middle, and the ingredients were all an afterthought drowning in sweetened pickled onions. My mocha latte was failure as well. I confirmed with the server the ingredients of the drinks consisting of 2 shots espresso, chocolate, and steamed milk and instead was served hot coffee, chocolate, with hot water. My husband’s cappuccino was also with hot water instead of milk and foam. These are standard drinks, I have no idea where the discrepancy came into play.
I would not recommend this place to future diners based on...
