I scarfed down my Machaca a la Mexicana, complemented perfectly with black beans, queso ranchero and two huge hand-made tortillas while my fiancée enjoyed her vegetarian omelette. We accompanied our meal with green smoothies and finished off our meal with a delicious café de olla. By far one of the best places to watch the sunset in all of Puerto, the bar overlooking the ocean also delivers the promised relief (las brisas!) to sun-weary explorers. The food was absolutely incredible! We split guacamole and a plate of camarones al ajillo, and returned the next night to try the pescado al ajo and the burrito vegetariano. I was prepared to regret not-ordering fish but these folks work magic with mushrooms- so much umami!
