La Negra Resto-Bar — Restaurant in Oaxaca

I came to this place as recommendation of my Airbnb Host. The place is outdoor dinning in the sidewalk next to the sand. There are several beach dogs around the area, all of them friendly. I ordered fish tacos, they were good, not impressive, decent for the price (overpriced). I kindly ask for some extra tortillas so I can feed later one of the street dogs, I got a rude response from the staff and the main owner even spoke with my husband cursing the dogs around and being extremely rude. It was disappointing the attitude the employees and the owner had to locals (Mexicans) and to the neighborhood dogs. Most people in Mazunte are not just locals most of them are from other countries, it doesn’t make sense for me the attitude of the whole staff, I remind you that you should be more friendly with the local fauna. Stop your non sense attitude and be more pet friendly, you are located on a sidewalk as any other taco spot in Mexico. Do not give your money to this woman! Yesterday I sat down at a table with 3 friends, who ordered 3 main-course meals and a drink. The restaurant was out of the particular food I wanted to order, so I decided I wouldn’t eat. In an extremely rude way the waitress then told me that I was not allowed to sit at the table with my friends because I wasn’t going to eat/spend money. In a calm but assertive manner, we informed the waitress that we felt she was being rude. She then snatched the drink back from my friend and said none of us could eat there because she wants to keep the table free, in case a larger group arrives and order more food than us. We sat and had aqua fresca here today for a bit to stay out of the sun. I was writing and my partner was reading a book, it seemed like a nice vibe. We were about to order some food and more drinks when the waiter told us to go somewhere else if we wanted to read and muttered about us staying too long and not ordering enough.
