I don’t like writing negative reviews but I also don’t want others to waste their time or money. Let’s start with the positives. The location is great, right in front of the beach. The staff are nice and friendly. However, the food quality is not there on this occasion. I had the shrimp ceviche and the chicken nachos with no cheese. The ceviche was really bland. There isn’t a lot to say about the chicken nachos. Considering the price, which I would say is well above average for this area, I’m afraid I can’t recommend this place. Very deserving of it's high rating.
We were the first ones at the restaurant, arriving before they actually opened. They told us they needed a few more minutes but were them extremely attentive all day. Literally, all day, as we stayed for lunch and dinner with plenty of cold beer between.
Tuna roll was good as was the aguachile, though I had not previously had one with cooked shrimp. I prefer raw. Shrimp tacos were fantastic and we both liked the pineapple shrimp. The views at the topless beach were also......
