Not a really good experience, we were a bit disappointed. The meals were expensive compared to the quantity and quality. Moreover, we had to ask things several times... The positive points were that the mood was nice, the red wine was quite good, and the meals ok (well cooked fish, except a lot of sauce directly on the food (hiding it?!), which would have been more enjoyable aside...)! Best food in Mazunte by far! You can really taste the effort the chef puts into the food to bring out many flavors! We spoke with the chef after dinner to compliment him and he was very humble. Terrible. Owner would not show the menu prices until we had sat down, then he brought a giant chalk board scrawled with Spanish. When we asked what certain items were, he laughed and said “you’re in Mexico and can’t read the language?” Overpriced and rude, and the whole place smelled like urine.
