My favorite beach restaurant in Mazunte.
The music was great, the food was good and you can even use their sunbeds to get a nice tan. Very much reminded me of Ibiza!
🔥What's special: Total beach feeling with great music while watching the waves crash down on the shore, wind softly blowing in your ear and sun shining on the ocean. The view alone is worth visiting …!! They already open at 7am.
🥗Menu: They have different menus throughout the day and also offer some vegan and gluten-free options.
🥞I went twice for lunch and breakfast. I had avocado toast, which was ok but nothing special, and a salad bowl. It was huge and came with a big portion of avocado as well as beetroot. The juices were not available that day as fruit had not been delivered but the lemonade was really good.
🙋♀️Customer Service: Very friendly and attentive. A bird pooped on my salad and they brought me another one for free. 😆
⏰Opening Hours: 7am - 10pm. They serve brunch from 7 am - 2pm and lunch/ dinner 2pm - 9.30pm
💵Price: Fruit plate (70 MXN), vegan avocado toast (120), juices (50-110)
💳Payment: Cash or card payment without fee.
🌎Wifi: Free wifi available
🚻WC: The toilet was further away and you had to ask for a key. It was okay but not the most comfortable.
🏠Vibe: Very chilled and relaxed

Read moreNew review: Apparently the owners or management changed and now this place sucks. Ambience: They play really loud techno music or invite performers to sing loudly and off key. You can't have a decent conversation. It feels like a place for druggies, not a chill beach vibe at all.
Coffee: The espresso is watery. The only non dairy milk they offer is soy and today they didn't even have that.
Service: One barista was nice and helpful. The rest didn't seem to care at all.
Since coming back I wondered why no one hangs out here anymore and after trying to go various times and leaving frustrated, I get why. Old review (2019) This café is kind of the heart of Mazunte social life during the high season. They provide live music on Sundays during brunch with music that brings the house down, screen movies midweek, and open a space to just hang out with friends in the shade.
The coffee is great and is served with a lot of humor. I never had to ask for my drink - they just knew what I liked and made it right.
The baristas are sassy, I'll admit, but in the best way. Just hold your own, be respectful about not coming in wet or sandy, and leave...
Read moreThe lost and confused middle-aged youth who frequent this establishment are hard to ignore. Be prepared to listen to misguided individuals try to be deeply philosophical about how the world works. Take it with a handful of salt, or block it out, and enjoy the ocean. You will not be enjoying the food. Avocado toast and chilaquiles were both subpar by any standard. It’s a shame because the setting is gorgeous. You want it to work. Instead you’ll likely sit there being frustrated with the world. Unless you are the misguided middle-aged youth of the world. In which case, this is your spot. Look no further. You’re home.
Also…filled with remote workers. Not complaining, as we were two of them. Not the greatest environment for it, but I could see it working if the internet was working. Wasn’t working at the time, but I hear it is simply hit-or-miss in the whole town. Not the fault of the...
