Read moreWe tried to come here for dinner yesterday (Wednesday) but when we turned up we were told the restaurant was closed for a private event- there was nothing on the club's social media or website about this. It's quite a journey to this club so we were disappointed. However we gave it another chance and came for dinner tonight. The setting is stunning, a great place to see the sunset in PE with food and drinks. However, it took us 20 minutes to just get a menu, despite asking, and once someone came to take our order, much of what we tried to order was not available (we were trying to order around 6pm, so not at the end of dinner service). We therefore just ordered starters- to their credit the seafood ceviche and tuna tostada were excellent and came out fast, and we really enjoyed the sunset views. I imagine it would be a great place for lunch or drinks. However for the high price and standards of the club, this was an underwhelming...
Spent the day at the beach club and had dinner at sunset here. You pay 600 pesos to have access to the lovely pool, lounge chairs, waiter services and access to the beach. But if you order food and drink at the pool or at the restaurant, they deduct the cost from the 600 you pay. Which in my opinion is amazing.
I had a Pina coladas (which was rather small) and the Bococha ceviche which was great. Swam in the pool, relaxed. Went for a long walk to take photos.
Then at sunset came back to have dinner. The kitchen closes at 6:30, so plan accordingly! They still sat me quite late, and I was the last to leave.
Service was excellent and the food was delicious! I had the tuna tostado and the Alfredo seafood pasta and a glass of lambruscom yum!
Definitely get your money's worth spending the entire afternoon and early evening at the pool...

We had tacos for dinner the other night but wasn't very impressed with them tho. Breakfast seems to be much better.

Feedback on the leaf blowers... Just stop using them. The most ridiculous tool that just blows leaves around without actually getting rid of them. Id advise the owners of all hotels to stop using them unless they want to intentionally ruin the customers experience. Just use brooms which actually collect the mess without annoying...
