I had the pleasure of dining at this exceptional restaurant that offers an authentic taste of India in the heart of Mexico. While the absence of music was notable during my visit, I would highly recommend incorporating some Indian tunes to enhance the overall ambiance.
From the moment I arrived, the enticing aroma of Indian spices wafting from the kitchen drew me in. It was a tantalizing preview of the culinary journey that awaited.
The food here is nothing short of spectacular. Each dish is a masterpiece, meticulously prepared to capture the true essence of Indian cuisine. The flavors are rich and authentic, a delightful blend of spices that transports you to the streets of India.
Though music was absent during my visit, I would suggest the inclusion of some traditional Indian melodies. This would not only complement the dining experience but also add to the ambiance, creating a more immersive journey into Indian culture.
The attentive service provided by the staff was commendable, with a deep knowledge of the menu and a willingness to accommodate dietary preferences.
In conclusion, if you're seeking an authentic taste of India in Mexico, this restaurant is a must-visit. While the absence of music was notable, the exquisite food and welcoming atmosphere more than make up for it. I look forward to returning, perhaps with the added touch of Indian music to complete the...
Read more4.9 stars is silly. This is a 5 star restaurant without a doubt.
The service is friendly, informative, and attentive.
The vibe of the restaurant is elegant but casual. (Dog friendly).
But most of all: the food is exquisite! We first tried Senor Naan as delivery through rappi. It was great, for sure. But really nothing compares to in-person dining. The menu is more extensive and the flavours are more bold, vibrant, and spice level adjusted to you preference (we like it spicy!)
The only challenge with this restaurant is deciding what to order- everything sounds so delicious! Thankfully we live in the neighborhood and will be back regularly to try everything.
I will update my review later, but if you are a tourist and only have a chance to stop in once or twice, you MUST try the pakoras (they are delicate & perfectly crisp) and it is worth trying a "Naan burrito" with whichever curry you want- the proportions of Naan, sauce & protein are perfect and so flavourful. We also had the Rogan Josh curry with Naan on the side, and the flavour was incredible.
Highly, highly recommend.

Read moreCozy little place. The staff was very nice. The food was excellent. I love saag paneer and get it at every Indian restaurant I go to. It was very good here and the Aloo Mattar was also very good. We got a 5 spice level and it was great. It had a kick without being too much. The chef recommended the kheer and I am so glad he did. It was his mother's recipe and was delicious. I will be going back...soon! It's a few days later and I just got back from Sr. NAAN for the third time. The food is excellent. Better and a little different than your standard North Indian restaurant. I'm in Oaxaca for two more weeks and I know I will be going back!
So it's a year later and we came back to Oaxaca. Sr. Naan was one of our first stops. I've been looking forward the the food all year and I'm happy to say it did not disappoint!! The food was excellent once again. We were happy to see the same chef was still cooking. I can't recommend this...
