We were happy with our experience here in October 2020 as the quality of the meals we got was very good. The food was fresh, nicely presented, and the portions were excellent, and priced well. The food arrived in good timing and the service was very good. The restaurant was almost empty at the time of our visit so I am sure this influenced it to some degree. What we also loved about this restaurant, which I feel is one of its top selling features, is the size, space, and ambiance of this location in Playa del Carmen. It is large, spacious, and so airy being almost entirely and outdoors restaurant with an open ground level and upstairs balcony seating options. The green foliage everywhere feels like you are eating in the jungle, yet are right in the heart of town. The only downside for us was that they do not have enough vegan options. We had and would only go back for the quinoa-beet-black bean salad and vegan tacos. We may go back to have this meal again and enjoy some of their smoothies, but really hope that they increase their menu to provide more vegan...
Read moreMy wife saw this place and fell in love immediately. We had brunch here. Thier menu caters to the healthy eating crowd with much of it focused on all natural ingredients, tofu, and vegtables. For me... it was average.
We had lunch here and my wife loved her food. I thought it was all on more of an average level however, the natural fruit drinks were delicious. The coolest thing about this place was the natural scenery. There are a few very large trees that are growing right in the middle of the restaurant that give it natural shade during the day. There are many birds that hop down from the trees occasionally to snag a snack.
The service here was not great at all. We had to grab the waiter several times as he did not check on us unless we called for his attention.
I'd suggest going here for a brunch or lunch and a few healthy drinks after a night of partying. A dinner here could be romantic as well with the scenery and tables tucked away under the trees with low ambient light. However, with all of the restaurants to try here I doubt we will return to...
Read moreI didn’t even get to eat here, was forced to eat the food that I was given while there was ingredients in it that I was allergic to and then forced to pay for it because the waiter would’ve had to pay for me returning it. I was extremely disappointed with my experience here. The person I came with got a meal and two drinks and I ended up drinking the two drinks on an empty stomach. this place will be the worst part of my experience here in Mexico otherwise there’s so much to love outside of this place. If you’re looking for good food with a great atmosphere and environment look elsewhere, this place is extremely overpriced. also as some people mention the forcing of a tip. I have a feeling that this place is about...
