UXATA Private Chef Services — Restaurant in Playa del Carmen

We had the most AMAZING experience with this company. From the very beginning when we began inquiring about their services, they operated at the highest level of professionalism. Quick responses with very detailed answers. Once we confirmed we would like to use their services, the next steps were seamless...we used their extensive menu to choose the meals we'd like, sent that via email and they confirmed. My family is a mixed blend of meat eaters, vegetarians, and picky kids. They were happy to make all the substitutions I requested. Each day Chef Ana was on time, professional, and seemed to do the work of 10 people with extreme ease. She wore a face mask the entire time (we hired their services during the Covid pandemic), served the meal exactly at our requested time, cleaned every inch of the kitchen and dining area and even took out the trash. As much as we value great service (and we do!), the best part was that her food was DELICIOUS!!!!! We were overly satisfied with every dish she presented to us. Our favorite dish was the enchiladas. We were lucky enough to have Paula cook for us for three days in Playacar, and every single meal felt like an experience. Her food was absolutely incredible — fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. From perfectly seasoned seafood and tender grilled meats to homemade sauces, every dish was made with so much care and intention.

She went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten-free needs, making sure every ingredient was safe without ever sacrificing taste or texture. It was some of the best food I’ve had — truly restaurant-quality, but made with the warmth and soul of home cooking.

And her flan… unforgettable. Silky, rich, and just the right balance of sweet — the kind of dessert you keep thinking about days later.

Beyond her incredible cooking, Paula brought such kindness and heart into our space. She was warm, caring, and even took time to love on my dog, who followed her around like a new best friend.

We hired Chef Paula for a single dinner for a group of ten, to be cooked and served in our rental house in Playa del Carmen. We were SO happy with our experience from start to finish! Paula and her assistant showed up with plenty of time to cook the meal onsite, and they managed to make the rental's kitchen work even though it was in pretty bad shape. We sent photos of the kitchen and cooking utensils to Paula in advance to make sure that it would be okay, and she totally rocked it!

We had a variety of chips and incredible dips, a ton of fish and beef tacos, a roasted beet and orange salad, grilled vegetable skewers, and the BEST cheesecake with fruit topping for dessert. Every single bite was delicious and it was all beautifully plated - unfortunately we didn't get very many good photos because we were so excited to dive in!
