Not great, not bad. It's a nice enough place, but the food was fairly average for a scratch Italian restaurant. Note, they have no mains, it's antipasti, secondi, pasta and pizza.

Arancini. Probably the highlight, cheezy, crispy.

Burrata. Decent flavor combination. But completely lacking the hallmark stracciatella. More like fresh mozzarella than burrata. The taste and jam were a decent combination. Nobody wants a slice of burrata. It should be served whole. And frankly house made.

Short rib pasta. Thr pasta is house made, but it's not great. Made on a residential kitchen aid, which was surprising but shouldn't matter. The short rib ragout was a bit bland. The pasta was cooked well, but didn't taste like the pasta water was salted. It was fine.

Pizza. Supposedly with tellegio (my favorite cheese) but the flavor wasn't detectable. Too spongy and soft. The pesto was below average, watery. This isn't the good handmade ligurian pesto with texture from using a mortar. The way it's squirted in circles is also very amateurish / chain pizza looking. If you're going to put pest on pizza, make it in house, by hand, and paint it on.

Service was friendly, but not very present. We were going to order dessert but decided not to because we couldn't flag down a server. Same with drinks. Just not terribly attentive. Not bad just not average.

This restaurant is really a gem. It was by far the best Italian kitchen I had in entire Mexico. This is real Italian food, every dish is foodporn. Within 1 week we went 4x and the quality was always superb!

Honestly if you are in or near Puebla, go there. It’s by far the best quality of food you can get there. Prices are absolutely fair, quite low in fact for what you get.

The drinks are amazing. The patio is calm and chilly.

Service is very good (outstanding for Mexico). Very nice and lovely owners, who really care about their customers.

We tried almost all entrandas, pasta dishes, posters and drinks.

This restaurant is really amazing. I highly recommend!

Thanks to the Spezzia Team. We will come back for sure. You rock, you do an...

This restaurant is The BOMB dot com!!! Absolutely delicious food and lovely owners who know good food. The owner came over and talked to us in English and asked us if we had any questions and described some seasonal items on the menu. They even allowed us to bring our well behaved dogs and sit on the back patio, which was nice after traveling and being in the car all day. We had a seasonal appetizer, the greens salad (so fresh with the perfect amount of dressing), the ravioli with truffles and spaghetti entrees, and the Carrot cake (OMG). My husband and I both agreed that this was the most delicious Italian food we have ever had. If you’re in town, check this place out!...
