My Paradise Beach Club — Restaurant in Puerto Morelos

UNREAL, terrible terrible!! So many fake positive reviews... You have been warned to enjoy your hard earned money where u will enjoy it!

PLEASE READ, for your sake.. must be fake reviews... not kidding on this one! I post many reviews all the time.

I have several reviews on Trip advisor and this one compelled me to warn everyone to STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Even when a place is terrible, I will include what was done right and nice and what was not... Spoiler alert... very little positive things here.

When you first walk in the place doesn't seem bad, the tables are a bit dirty but the beach view from the wooden lawn chairs were decent. However, the tables by the beach are only for drinks as they are too small for anything but a few glasses.

First, the mixed drinks we ordered were EXTREMELY weak and we were all convinced that there was little, if any alcohol at all. Our order for 4 people took over 25 minutes to arrive even though the place wasn't crowded at all.

Next, ALL of the food took almost 50 minutes to arrive and our burgers and fries were completely cold. Only the fries didn't seem right out of the fridge. Taste was bad as well. All 4 of us concluded that the food either wasn't cooked long enough or sat on the counter for at least 30 minutes to become that cold.

The manager came over and said that he didn't believe our food was cold since he said that he saw the food was brought out right after it was made. A total lie...

If that was true then I'm not sure what took 45 minutes to do when it came out cold. They provided no napkins and NEVER checked on us for another 30 minutes.

At this point, we were all ready to leave and told them that we wanted them to either make us replacements or take the items off the bill.

They refused to do either and essentially stated that there was nothing they would do to make us happy except to microwave cold food that he already took away. So, we left without paying since they took our food away and refused to replace it even though we had each only eaten NO MORE than a bite for each meal.

So, again, no edible food, horrible drinks and they refused to either replace or remove... We were not going to pay for things they did not provide and then took away after we complained. We were all shocked that the manager refused to even replace our lousy food and drink.. UNREAL!

Then after we left, the manager chased after us and the owner also approached us in a very aggressive manner and called the police. We explained everything to the police and then they left.

I don't want you to think that I'm endorsing or working for another place but we all left and went to another one nearby and it was excellent.

Save your money, your time and happiness for a place that cares about its customers. Word has it from a couple of locals we spoke to that this place has been going down for awhile now and losing business left and right. I can't say I'm surprised.... Also, the positive reviews are probably fake as well since we didn't see even a glimmer of what any of those reviews were talking about. I would absolutely tell you if there were good things here... The waitress did have a pleasant...

The pair of folks that managed the bar were absolute best in many ways. The cocktails are the best I have ever had. Exotic concoctions and prices were absolutely fair, especially considering this is right on the beach....and amazingly nice people.

The food was nice, burgers were fantastic. We were a family of 5 that spent an entire day on chairs and umbrella under palm trees provided by paradise beach club with really nice music mix of classic rock and pop that even my teenage daughter loved with an amazing beach. A very laid back place and easy on the purse.

Last but not the least, I always got the feeling of not being wanted in some of the other beach clubs we had gone to looking for palapas and chairs in the area (won't name names). But the bartenders and servers in this club both time we went without hesitation were always welcoming and so nice.

All that aside...come here for great cocktails, nice music, few trees for shade (if you want it), nice food and amazing beach and even more amazing people...

While strolling the beach, my family & I stopped by for late afternoon drink on our last day of visiting PM. I order a beer, wife & kids order fruity stuff (Tequila Sunrise, Bahama Mama, etc). Waiter mumbles something that due to 'Covid, rules' we have to order some food (Funny, we didn't have to at Unico or Don's earlier in the week...) so fine, order some guac & chips.

Drinks arrive to disappoint everyone. Beer is barely chilled, certainly not cold. Mixed drinks all look the same except for the garnishes, all taste the same and lacking alcohol.

Waiter then proceeded to disappear and never return (Should've taken that as a sign from above to do the same), had to hunt him down to...
