La Petita en La Playita was so good! The food was amazing, entertainment was a Columbian duo who really had a vibe and the good got to us super fast. It's not really a restaurant for drinks, I had a sangria and it wasn't all that great but I highly recommend the michelada with a XX. Another downside of this restaurant is parking. We had to wait quite a bit to get parking to enter and when we did we were interrupted to come and relocate our car in the parking lot. Dogs are also not allowed so if you have a pet, you'll need to carry a little water bowl and some water and leave him/her outside. The staff doesn't really interact with you, they just take your order, serve your food and go. The fish is also very fresh so its the perfect place to eat if you're concerned about how food is stored etc. It had a nice vibe, definitely...

Nice local place to enjoy fresh fish caught that day in the early morning where you go with the server to look at the available fish that they have in a cooler right next to the kitchen and pick the one you like. The main dish is whole fried fish that almost everyone there orders and it's very good, but everything else on the menu is very good too. The prices are very reasonable compared to other more touristy restaurants in the area. The tables are on sand in the open under a big palapa. The place is clean and the service is good but be patient when is crowded which is most...

decided to have our dinner there. the waiter brought us menus but didnt even say hello or how are you. When he brought the drinks he didnt even bother to look at us. We are a young couple and all the tables around us received surprisingly friendly service , so we decided to just have drinks and asked for the bill. waited long time and none of the 5 waiters seemed to want to brind us the bill. After asking the 3rd time they told us to go pay at the bar, even though waiters were standing around and clearly saw we wanted to pay. Very...

Of the 12 restaurants we ate at while in Mexico, this one had the best fish and at the lowest cost. In choosing fish the clearer the eyes the fresher the fish. We had a local fish called Boguette. Complete dinner with drinks about $12 USD. The most relaxing unassuming restaurant. Plastic table and plastic chairs, this place is everything "Margaritaville" tries so hard to duplicate. Sitting on the shore, watching the fisherman work or someone taking diving lessons. All while you sit back with friends drinking the most relaxing cold one.
