Brass steakhouse — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

We felt Brass is the best restaurant in the resort. The food is excellent and the service is fantastic too.

We often got the tenderloin and the flank steak, both were consistently well cooked and full of flavour.

The corn soup is also delicious. It's not quite as good as it used to be, but still very nice.

The breads they give you are also really tasty. Our favourite was the little cheese twist, very moreish!

Andres in Brass is a credit to the company, he is so friendly, accommodating, and attentive. He remembered us from our previous visits, and came over to talk to us and make us feel so welcome, despite not being our designated server. If all the staff were like him, the hotel really would be first class.

Definitely make sure you come along here...

We had dinner at Brass Steakhouse and were pleased with the steak — cooked perfectly to the right temperature and full of flavor. However, the rest of the meal didn’t live up to expectations. The cauliflower appetizer arrived cold, the duck slider was bland, and the mushroom crepe was disappointing — the heavy green sauce was overpowering and the mushrooms inside were burnt, leaving a bitter taste.

Service was courteous, but the kitchen execution needs better consistency to match the quality of the main entrée. With a few refinements, this could easily become one of the stronger dining experiences...
