The hibachi was fun and the cook was really charismatic and funny. If you’ve never done hibachi, it’s definitely fun to see. It’s worth it for the show! The food is good - nothing crazy but still good. Pretty simple: miso soup, fried rice, steak, chicken, shrimp, and vegetables. Then angel food cake for dessert. The main menu has some fun desserts, so I wish we got one of those. They’re very adaptable to dietary restrictions (gluten free, nut allergies, etc). Make a reservation at least 3 days in advance for hibachi!!

One of our last dinners at the Excellence resort was at the Asian restaurant called spice. We were met and seated by Eduardo the head waiter who was extremely friendly and he also helped me at helped us select a nice wine. Alejandro was our waiter and he was amazing telling us what the best things on the menu were and very prompt and attentive with the service. We had tempura, Maki, sushi, miso soup, and spring rolls. All were so delicious this place is a real gem!

This is on the second floor where the lobby locate. For the services and the decorations they are totally five stars. But for the food or the sushi it’s still space for improvement.

Sadly an underwhelming experience for a 5 star resort. The service was slow (including drink orders) and food was below par. The starters were average - sushi wasn’t bad but the chicken satay was dry and sauce nonexistent. Other than the pad Thai the mains (curries), seemed like they’d been heated up in a microwave, and some parts...
