Shoji Asian Cuisine — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

Awesome. Food was great. David was my server and he remembered my drink order from a day or two ago and brought me one without me asking.

If staying at Finest. Make a reservation for Hibachi as soon as you check in with the concierge. They only have three rooms for hibachi and each only does around 3 to 5 a night. You can't order any other food outside of Hibachi. So all the below was a separate trip.

Tip- maybe eat appetizers before your reservation. Hibachi is good and you may walk away a little hungry.

Meal come with spring rolls not on the menu. They were good.

Vegetables tempura. This was also good. It has bell peppers which i am not a fan of but the rest were good.

Dragon Kiss Sushi was recommended and it was very good. I am not a raw sushi fan.

Braised Beef Ribs. Very good and flavorful.

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. One of our favorite restaurants during our stay at Finest, Playa Mujeres. We loved everything we tried and then came back the next night to do it all over again. The staff was fantastic, especially manager Jesus, who was an absolute pleasure. He definitely was one of our favorite people during our stay and should be recognized for his exceptional service and kindness. Our server Luisa was also wonderful and made a great recommendation when my husband couldn't decide what to order (we usually like too many things). And I particularly loved the Dragon's kiss sushi, the duck gyoza with plum sauce and the Thai salad. Everything...

A quick note of thanks to an exceptional experience at Shoji. We had our last dinner before returning at Shoji on Friday, September 10th. The team gave us such a great evening: Jesus the manager made us feel so welcomed. Luisa, our server, gave us exceptional service. I hope they are all made aware of our total and 110% satisfaction. We had other servers and hosts who took care of us at the various offerings at the Finest, but we wanted to acknowledge Jesus and Luisa. We'll see...
