Buffet Caribe — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

I would rate this restaurant 4 stars it has potential but I can't rate it 4 stars. Many minuses hare, the restaurant is open till 10 pm at dinner and lunch plates are taken off the racks and last hour of service is down to 50% of the food available. If you get late you are probably gonna be disappointed and probably hungry. Stuff service, waiters, and bar are pretty lazy and I noticed not enough employees to serve so many tables at most you gonna get one drink during eating, and rest you have to serve yourself. Food is just OK not good not bad either, but its blend and no flavors no taste. Tako bell has better flavored food than this restaurant, not salty enough. All pasta tastes the same no matter what pasta you choose. Beef mead most of the time is very hard and chewy, grilled meat is most of the time gone, and empty plates. Floors are very slippery and shoud use a lot of caution when walking, i witnessed 3 people slip and fall. Kids are a potential danger since they run without control and they serve...

Avoid this place to seve yourself from headache. Very poor management. Food is not the best but to bad eather. Food that is any good will disappear fast and unfortunately they dont replace it you gonna find empty trays. Grill for example alvays i mean every single dinner and lunch 70 percent of food is not replenished its not there again lazinessof service and management. Service is pretty poor, since restaurant is limited to servers and you would have to serve yourself with food and drinks. Also servers are very lazy free ones rather stay aside than come and ask what you want to drink. Also restaurant working time is till 10pm but if you running late they start closing proces 45 - 60 minutes earlier. First the good: it's Riviera Maya, it's warm, it's beautiful, so the atmosphere is better than great. The service is phenomenal. The servers and staff are so nice and attentive and really interesting to talk with. The bad: the food is all made somewhere else and it's simply thawed from frozen and reheated, except the tamales. The tamales were still frozen. The guacamole is like a super creamy goop, not terrible but not homemade. Carne asada is so tough it's like trying to chew a leather boot. The shrimp is way overcooked, the fish is dry. I'm not sure what the hamburgers are made of, they look nasty and I heard they are nasty.
