We had a very pleasant dinner at México Lindo while staying at Barcelo. We sat down and almost immediately were asked what we would like to drink and then were provided with a cheese bread roll and chips, salsa and guacamole. They even brought me a stand to hang my purse on!

Our servers (Abraham Cupol and Pedro Cupol) were very attentive and went above and beyond explaining the various dishes to us to ensure we made a choice that would appeal to our groups’ tastes. I enjoyed everything I sampled. I had the tlayuda for my appetizer, which was a crispy tortilla with black beans and tasty cheese and well seasoned beef. I also sampled the Al pastor tacos which were a big hit at our table. For my main I had the Yucatán pork which came with tortillas and pickled red onions. This was very tasty and I was able to build my own mini tacos. For dessert I had the Mexican crème brûlée which had a nice flavor and a hard top (i thought I might be more flan like but tasted very traditional). They even brought me a decaffeinated cappuccino to enjoy with it. All in all a very...

From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a perfect balance of elegance and authenticity. Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely incredible!

We started with tacos that were as vibrant in flavor as they were in color. The red, green, and classic tortillas were packed with perfectly seasoned meat, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of spice. Each bite was a burst of flavor that transported us straight to the streets of Mexico.

The salads was a delightful surprise—fresh, crisp, and coated in a creamy dressing that was rich but not overpowering. It was a fantastic complement to the bold flavors of our main dishes.

The service was just as impeccable as the food. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. Their recommendations were on point, making our dining experience even better.

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican cuisine with a modern and creative twist, this is the place to be. We can’t wait...

Place is a complete joke. We showed up to our dinner reservation with a 4 year old and 6 year old. We never had the silly paper slip and they told us we had no reservation. Then my wife ran back to the room bolted back with the paper proof of reservation. We Gave the proof of reservation and yet they still wouldn't honor the reservation. The same proof made by guest services at the resort. They honestly wanted to send a family with two small kids packing cause of their own mistake or screw up. We were furious. Then after much debate they gave us a table. We were so upset then we got up and left.... Oh and wait... It gets better... At the buffet we were approached by the food and beverage manager who was apologetic and promised to make it right... Never heard from him ever again. Embarrassing service to say the least. Barcelo should be ashamed of themselves. Still fuming about it now...

Dinner at Lindo was very good. My only advice ..... Come hungry. Oh my goodness. So. Much. Delicious. Food. We had wonderfully attentive servers: Abraham and Jose. They were very good, answered all of our questions, and were very accommodating. A real pleasure! The appetizers were a meal in and of themselves. I had the chef taco appetizer (forgot to take a photo). 3 chicken tacos. I had to share one with my husband. I should have given one to one of my kids as well. So good, but so filling. I've attached photos of some of the food. Both our teen sons had fajitas - one chicken and one beef. I didn't take photos of those, but they loved them! They also really enjoyed their marinated pork tacos. After having dinner at 4 other Al a cartes so far, they both said this was their favourite. Enjoy!

Menu is limited so I’d review it ahead. The food was pretty good, the kids menu not so much. I wish they had more options and that they put exactly what’s on the plate. Example one dish we ordered had corn, no mention of corn. Another had mashed potatoes, also no mention. Overall the food was good. I ordered the milanesa for my kids and it was a bit too thick for their & my liking but still had pretty good favor. Ceviche from app was pretty good. Staff were all nice and attentive, waiter became a bit busy but the busy boy helped us out. I’d definitely go back, the stuffed chicken ordered by my mom wasn’t good but everything else our table ordered was good. The shrimp & pepper appetizer was so good!! Probably my favorite item that we ordered!
