Coral Grill — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

In my opinion, Coral Grill is the best restaurant on the premises of Barcelo Maya Palace between all buffet-style restaurants. First of all, it’s always less crowded here since most guests go to the main dining halls, which makes the level of guest attention feel much higher—perhaps due to the restaurant’s specific setup. Even when we go for breakfast or lunch, we prefer to grab food from the main restaurant and then enjoy it in Coral Grill.

Secondly, the atmosphere is incredibly pleasant. You sit with a view of the ocean, in the open air but under a roof with fans, making the space fresh, breezy, and very comfortable.

Thirdly, the background music is lovely. I haven’t noticed such music in other restaurant areas, but Coral Grill plays soothing tracks that make it a pleasure to sit, sip a drink, and relax.

Fourthly, the staff is exceptional—very polite, attentive, and courteous. Their service really stands out, and we thoroughly enjoyed dining here.

My girlfriend and I went to this resort in May and I’ve got to say I was really impressed by the hospitality and service provided by the staff and chefs. After a week of eating a variety of foods provided by the Coral Grill restaurant, I decided to ask one of the chefs for something special.
