The good: The food my partner and I had was excellent; her starter was the tortilla soup, and mine, the stone (seafood) soup. For mains hers was the fajitas, which she enjoyed, and mine was the rosemary pork, which is one of the tastiest dishes I've ever eaten - a sensible-sized portion, some might find it missing some side plates.
The bad - The service, overall, was very disappointing. We were served by two waiters of polar opposite dispositions. The first couldn't manage a smile, and seemed intent on pressuring us to buy a bottle of wine, despite the fact that we are not big drinkers so only wanted a glass or two each, and prefer white and red wine, respectively. He then disappeared and was replaced by a very friendly and enthusiastic waiter, who almost redeemed the service until he took an order for drinks (water and wine) and never came back. After sitting for 20 minutes with empty glasses and our main plates still on the table and no sign of dessert, we left.

Glasses were never empty and accommodated our requests (children having a small pizza as a starter to share so they didn't feel left out)
Starter: we had a starter of smoked salmon and my partner has beetroot with walnuts (seems like an odd combination but it really wasn't)
Main: filet of steak with rustic mash was delicious and cooked to perfection, I had chicken rice and vegetables - may sound boring but it really wasn't, the chicken was so moist and tasty and flavoursome.
Desserts - tiramisu, filled canoloni and ferrero ice cream - no faults at all!
My lads had pizza they gave a...
Read moreOur recent visit to this Italian restaurant left us with mixed feelings. While the bread was fantastic and the service was decent, we have to say that the food didn't quite meet our expectations in terms of authenticity.
That said, there were a few standout dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed, such as the lamb agnolotti, which was simply fantastic. We also loved the caprese salad and carpaccio, which were both beautifully presented and bursting with fresh flavors.
On the other hand, the gnocchi and Tiramisu were just okay, lacking the wow factor we were hoping for.
With a little more work on the authenticity of the cuisine and culinary inspiration, perhaps this restaurant will...
