The good: The food my partner and I had was excellent; her starter was the tortilla soup, and mine, the stone (seafood) soup. For mains hers was the fajitas, which she enjoyed, and mine was the rosemary pork, which is one of the tastiest dishes I've ever eaten - a sensible-sized portion, some might find it missing some side plates.

The bad - The service, overall, was very disappointing. We were served by two waiters of polar opposite dispositions. The first couldn't manage a smile, and seemed intent on pressuring us to buy a bottle of wine, despite the fact that we are not big drinkers so only wanted a glass or two each, and prefer white and red wine, respectively. He then disappeared and was replaced by a very friendly and enthusiastic waiter, who almost redeemed the service until he took an order for drinks (water and wine) and never came back. After sitting for 20 minutes with empty glasses and our main plates still on the table and no sign of dessert, we left.

Considering that this restaurant is in the "Privelege" lobby, we expected the experience to at least be equal to that received in the Akumal's buffet restaurant, which had been consistently...

Visited here on one of our Al a carte nights, wow beautiful food, the waiter was amazing, wish I carried more money for a bigger tip.

Glasses were never empty and accommodated our requests (children having a small pizza as a starter to share so they didn't feel left out)

Starter: we had a starter of smoked salmon and my partner has beetroot with walnuts (seems like an odd combination but it really wasn't)

Main: filet of steak with rustic mash was delicious and cooked to perfection, I had chicken rice and vegetables - may sound boring but it really wasn't, the chicken was so moist and tasty and flavoursome.

Desserts - tiramisu, filled canoloni and ferrero ice cream - no faults at all!

My lads had pizza they gave a...

Our recent visit to this Italian restaurant left us with mixed feelings. While the bread was fantastic and the service was decent, we have to say that the food didn't quite meet our expectations in terms of authenticity.

That said, there were a few standout dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed, such as the lamb agnolotti, which was simply fantastic. We also loved the caprese salad and carpaccio, which were both beautifully presented and bursting with fresh flavors.

On the other hand, the gnocchi and Tiramisu were just okay, lacking the wow factor we were hoping for.

With a little more work on the authenticity of the cuisine and culinary inspiration, perhaps this restaurant will...

A very pleasant experience, and top notch service by Ernesto! Starters: an excellent beef carpaccio, and a very nice Nicholas salad. Salmon carpaccio and Caprese salad were less impressive, but still good. Soups: tomato duo - great taste, smooth and sophisticated, and an interesting presentation. The minestrone was a miss, just a generic soup. The main courses, grilled beef filet and sea fruit casserole, were very good. Generous portions, well cooked. Desserts: tiramisu was very decent; and the Ferrero ice cream provided a pleasant surprise - well balanced and satisfying. Bottom line: highly recommended.

Definitely an amazing place to eat, with our server being marvelous. Salads: Definitely delicious and unique. Cheese could be added a little more, though. Main course: Many good memories made. Steak, seafood, pizza, and ravioli all were good. Pizza could have just a little tomato sauce, while everything else was well on. Dessert: Tiramisu is great, while Ferrero ice cream is amazing. Hazelnut really makes a difference. Overall, this place is definitely recommended and food makes up for the wait.
