Please read!!! Definitely scammy place If I could leave zero starts I would. I was asking for recommendations on places to go at the taxi area after leaving our cruise ship. Was told before coming that it would be $15 per person for beach access and one drink each. We hung out for a bit and got our drink, nothing else. We got up and walked around the beach to go get lunch somewhere else and then we’re walking back down the beach and one of the workers flags us down and gets our server and tells us we owe $120!?! I told him no we paid at the door for service and everything. He then says oh well it’s $20 per drink then so $40. He then says “and don’t forget our tip, for all of us” motioning toward the other workers. Already upset, I just pay for the drinks and walk away. Avoid this place or ask for exacts or something in writing if you do...

All from the way the people at the port try to sell you the taxi tickets and the entrance to a “beautiful private beach restaurant” that has all this amenities, that doesn’t smell or have sargazo for $15, plus $5 per person for the taxi. It’s completely opposite of what they sell you and the free drink the promise you is a very small size.
The over charge in this specific Restaurant is extremely high compared to other locations. They also change the prices when it comes to the check, I was told $35 for the fish and they charged us 74$ USD. They charged us $28 taxes when Mexico doesn’t charge taxes, and 28$ for service that didn’t exist. My friend’s shrimp had a hair in it and our cauliflower was molded .
I’ve worked in the restaurant industry before and this is...
Read moreCheck the bill before you pay, or better yet, go somewhere else. As someone else mentioned in their review, they will increase the cost of things. For example, chips and salsa are listed as $6, they wrote $8 on my bill and when I questioned it, he told me he brought me a larger portion. There is only one size on the menu. The food is expensive and not good quality. The water is pretty, but small snorkel boats come through often, so you have to move around in the water to make sure you don't get hit. You will also be bombarded with folks haggling, so if you want to rest and relax in peace, this is...
