La Hacienda — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

We visited this place during the off-season, and the front desk staff told us we did not have to reserve. We ended up going here after we were turned down from El Pescador. We had a two-hour wait to eat bland and frozen Mexican food—big props to all the hard-working staff trying to make the best of bad management.

Ate at the Hacienda on are last night at the resort. The service was good, we had Reyes, he was attentive to us and many other tables. When he was unavailable we had 3 other waiters approach are table to check on us. The food at the hacienda was not near as good as the steakhouse, Italian and the oriental. The Mexican restaurant is a must visit for people who like Mexican food! Lots of food and we were full when we left. This is important to note as other a la carte restaurants that I have been to (Not at the Occidental) you feel like going to the Buffet afterwards just to fill yourself up. The food was delicious and I recommend going at least once...
