Los Olivos — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

My waiter Patricia was great! She really tried to make the moment right. Obviously a Mexican resort is not the place to order italian food but alas we wanted to try it. I got a rigatoni that was said to have mozzarella from a particular region of Italy. The pasta tasted like it was pure vinegar and olive oil. It was incredibly acidic, I had my other family members try it and they agreed that it was not good at all. Try the Hacienda if you are looking for phenomenal food and service. At least the service was good and she tried to fix the situation for me, but the food literally made me sick + there was flies in the bread. Cute...

Bad start to finish. Party of 5 and 2 of us guys had on dress shorts and we’re not let in. We had to let them know others that we saw leave and men in the restaurant were wearing shorts. They said we could either leave and change or could use their workers black pants on top of our shorts. They said that the man that looked like an adult was a kid so he could. I was like ok we saw other men leave that with full facial hair. Got put in the mexican restaurant im assuming because of reasons out of their control, but the staff were very nice about it. Food was okay, not the highest quality but it was fairly 'fancy'. Patricia Tamay was very great and always made sure we had our drinks and food quickly as well as being friendly, id probably go back because of the service alone.
