Dolce Jardin — Restaurant in San Francisco

We were told the owner is Italian, and after traveling to Italy multiple times, we were surprised how bland and tasteless our dinner was. We had a Caprese salad and pesto pasta with shrimp, the mozzarella didn’t taste like mozzarella; the basil didn’t taste like basil, the tomatoes didn’t taste like tomatoes, and the sauce wasn’t flavorful. The pasta itself was cooked perfectly, and the shrimp was fresh. We simply expected quality ingredients to be used so these two simple dishes could be enjoyed.

I had a Wonderful dinner at Dolce Jardin yesterday night! The atmosphere was cozy and very Italian! The pasta was AL DENTE and the sauces PESTO and 4 CHEESES perfect! I am a sommelier and I travel around the world and I was surprised to have with my bruschetta, a Mexican wine from Guanajuato, this wine was produced with 2 Italian grapes: Nebbiolo and Sangiovese, I was really happy to find this kind of wine in San Pancho so bravo to Dolce Jardin for the concept!...

I love that you can pay with your card here at no extra fee. Service was great. We came and ordered for to go and brought it back to our house. Pizzas were fresh (took about 35 minutes from when we placed order) and decided to walk around the local stores while we waited. I believe they use brick oven! We ordered pepperoni, vegetarian, Gorda, and spicy salami and a geeen salad to start us off! The house made dressing was 5 stars. Great...
