This was probably the most expensive place that we ate in San Pancho, but also the most delicious! Everything we ordered we were blown away by. The waitstaff was wonderful and there was a Saxophone player playing amazing live music the entire time.

For drinks, we ordered their Watermelon Margaritas that they had on special. These were so refreshing.

To start, we were given a free little tasting appetizer which was like a caprese on a toothpick. It was the absolute most perfect bite of tomato, mozzarella, basil, & olive oil. We also ordered the Baked brie, which was served with grapes, apples, pepper jelly, and with pita bread. This was AMAZING!! The pepper jelly was the perfect combination for the baked brie.

For mains, we ordered a few of the brie & caramelized onion pizzas and Margherita pizzas. These were amazing! They have a brick fire pizza oven that created the most perfect thin & crispy pizza crust. I’ve also been told that the pastas here are incredible.

To finish, we were given a delicious dessert shot on the house. I’ve never had such a delicious shot in my life. This was the perfect ending to an amazing dinner. I highly recommend coming to try La Ola Rica. 5/5 service, 5/5...

The restaurant is beautifully located in the main street next to the other popular shops and restaurants. When we were there we had to wait over an hour for the starter and the main course came almost immediately, which was rather inconvenient. In the meantime we didn't get anything to eat, like chips or other snacks, to pass the time. The food was OK and the bruschettas were already cold, as if they had been standing around for a long time. There was also a singer in the bar who was doing a live show, but it was much too loud. I wouldn't recommend going, otherwise not...

My husband and I ate here last Friday and by Saturday morning we were both horribly sick. We know it was the food here because we were absolutely fine until then. We are now going on to day 5 of not feeling right and because of acute food poisoning we lost three days of our vacation because we were confined to our house. I hope the owner reads this and pays close attention to what is happening in his kitchen and how food is being handled and prepared. Because it disturbed our vacation so roughly I am telling others to be wary. Food poisoning is...

We have been coming here for several years, but unfortunately don’t enjoy it as much as we used to so I’m updating my review. Quality of food has declined, costs not so much. We really enjoyed our meal here—so much so that we returned again the next week! The lime chicken was a true standout. Also, our kids and we really enjoyed the love music on Tuesday nights!

Had the Tortilla soup and Molcajete on a Sunday night, sitting on the main boulevard. Added Mexican Mocha Cafe and Coconut flan to top it off. Great way to start a trip, and end a week. Lots of street entertainment, music, and folks are very friendly. Great service by a very attentive Adrian who had great suggestions, and very polite. Would recommend.
