This is a great little find about 1/2 block from Mercado Ignacio Ramirez. It has a beautiful spacious indoor patio chock full of greenery, the service is excellent, the food is delicious and made fresh to order, and there are lots of vegan and vegetarian and gluten-free options. I had the vegan bowl which I thought it was a little smaller than what I'm used to but, with the pan de elote on the side, and they were absolutely delicious! Got there at 9:20am and they weren't open and told us they were cleaning and it would be 10 minutes. I pointed out that their stated opening time was 9am and asked if we could at least sit down inside and wait instead of outside on the narrow street with cars whizzing past us. They completely ignored us and were frankly rude so we left. This place doesn't deserve customers. There is literally NO excuse for leaving us standing around outside when we arrived 20 minutes past the time they were supposed to be open. We ate somewhere else...

A charming little cafe tucked away northeast of the market and main plazas. The venue was covered, rustic, full of natural light and plants. The service was prompt and friendly.
