Il Castello Pizzeria — Restaurant in San Miguel de Allende

I have used them before and was very satisfied with their food & service until my recent experience (today). My parents and I ordered 2 pizzas and a pasta. With a total of 725 pesos + 35 (for delivery) + an additional tip for service. 1 hour and 20 mins went by and I called them several times with no luck. 2 hours went by and the motorcycle horn went off. We decided to pay the delivery guy his $35 fee and not accept the pizzas. I have tried calling them several times with no answer and no luck. I am super disappointed in their service. Il Castello Pizzeria in San Miguel de Allende is a beautiful little spot with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Pizzas are good, service is quick, very moderate prices. Unfortunately, they have no clue how a real Italian pizzeria works. We ordered an antipasto (starter), which was served after we already were half way through the pizza. The starter was more like a pile of salad than the antipasto plate expected. They do not serve wine at all, which also is very uncommon for a pizzeria. If you stay on the ground floor (they also have an upper floor), the ambiance is rather unsettling, because the home delivery boys running in and out and the delivery bags are sitting on some...
