Lukrezia Sma Breakfast and Brunch — Restaurant in San Miguel de Allende

It's astonishing how this restaurant is full of people yet bland and expensive.

Apart from being more expensive than other places, the coffee cup is not a full cup of coffee but rather less than half a cup and cold; mentioning it to the waiters = no results.

They did not have several items from the menu at noon, including the chilaquiles and French toast. The food was cold, bland and tiny portions. To finish it off, since they didn't have French toast, we ordered pancakes. Apart from the fact that they didn't have maple syrup (who doesn't?), the boxed pancakes...

Dare I say the Chilaquiles Blanco may have been on of the best dishes I’ve ever had. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce was the perfect balance of sweet on the front and spicy on the back end (may be a little spicy for some). But beyond on that everything we had was great, well prepared with fresh ingredients and details from the blackberry cupcake, to drinks, to excellent crispy omelette. If you’re a foody looking for high quality brunch this is hard to beat....

I was recommended this restaurant through a friend who is from San Miguel. She knows pretty much every spot in town and said this one is the best. My friend and I are traveling and after eating here and I see why she says this the best spot to go to in San Miguel. The outside courtyard was the perfect spot for lunch and the goat cheese ciabatta and Lukrezia bowl were fantastic.
