Kairaku Metepec — Restaurant in State of Mexico

What a pretencious restaurant. We came for lunch because they had a promotion for 2x1 on sushi, so we thought it was okay for just lunch. The moment that we entered we found this pretending posh environment that tries to be a poor mans "fine dinning" restaurant... terribly. We waited 45 mins for the sushis and when they came were undercooked and lacked flavour. Worst sushi that we had in life. The only bottled water they have is an £8 bottle because... they're fancy, of course. The attention of the waiters was terrible, because we don't wear suits for going to a sushi restaurant located in a small town they didn't think was worth paying us attention. We went to celebrate my husband’s birthday! And the whole experience was amazing! From the moment that we enter the atmosphere was so nice, and the hostess was so kind! Our server Joshua made the whole experience even better, great service, great recommendations and always near in case we need anything. Super patient with my youngest kid and kind with her requests. El ambiente va dependiendo lo que busques, de un lado es más para ir con amigos, hay música (muy alta por cierto) la luz es más obscura, más ruido, perfecto para ambientar, y del otro lado es un lugar más tranquilo, para ir a reuniones, una cita, platicar, etc Yo me tuve que cambiar al lado tranquilo por qué del otro lado la música es muuuy alta, no puedes escuchar a las otras personas con las que vayas La comida es rica, no tardan mucho en llevarla, la sección de postres muy ricos también, te explican los postres y te ponen videos de los mismos para que puedas escoger sin problema El precio es regular, hay algunos platillos más caros (más de $300), sin embargo el promedio es como de cualquier lugar de sushi He visto que te dan un origami al principio en lo que toman tu orden, a mi no me la dieron, solo me dieron la toallita húmeda para limpiarme las manos y al final una hojita para escribir un deseo que colocas en uno de sus murales Me incomodó bastante el mesero, que no paraba de reírse cuando nos tomaba la orden, se notaba que era con nosotros por qué en cuanto se iba de nuestra mesa, dejaba de reírse, fatal.
