Sălcioara — Restaurant in Rîșcani Sector

We are the family: me, my wife and our son, russian speaking, first time in Chisinau, visited this place for dinner. Food is ok, I'd say overpriced, but ok. About service - best soviet traditions, we ordered a bottle of wine, son ordered coke, it took them to bring us it all about 15-20 minutes. Greens plate and cheese plate - another 30 minutes or more. My son ordered chorba and rabbit, we ordered the plate of meat (tava), they have two options - big one for 3-4 for 800 lei (1 kg of meat) and small one for 300, we ordered the small one. They brought chorba and rabbit together, after that the waiter appeared and asked if we want anything else. We reminded him about our plate, looks like he simply forgot. Ok, he brought it pretty fast, no concerns, average size for two people. And finally we got the check for 100 euro and it was a bit surprising. An acquaintance and I went to the restaurant and asked if we could have separate bills since we did not have cash and the server said no. Clearly he knew we not from the area and tourists. So if be aware of this rude service and don't go there if you are a tourist or need a separate bill for your table. Additionally it was at 7 pm on a Thursday night, and we were the only two in the restaurant, when others were packed. Amintiri plăcute despre acest local, dar dezamăgit de recenta vizită... din păcate! Am cerut 2 platouri ”Moldova” și ni s-a adus unul cu explicația că sunt două porții pe aceiași farfurie, și aia sărăcuță și cu mari dubii că avea 720 gr de legume așa cum se anunța!? Aceiași situație și cu ”Gustarea tradițională” - aduse două porții (chipurile) dar pe un singur platou. Situația s-a repetat și pentru sarmalele ”Dor de casă”, aduse într-o singură farfurie deși am cerut două porții, iar acea farfurie pe departe conținea jumătate de kg de sarmale... Dezamăgirea și mai mare a fost cu Platoul ”Sărbătoare”, sau mai recent ”Specialitatea casei Grill mixt”: o farfurie mică cu bucatele cam uscate și un pic modificate la gust (de parcă au fost ținute o perioadă de timp la frigider), dar cu pretenția că sunt DE CASĂ. Și ”plăcerera” aceasta a costat 935 de lei !!!??? Am plătit cam 725 de lei /persoană, dar am plecta de acolo fără nici o satisfacție gastronomică și poate chiar un pic flămânzi. Plăcintele și țuica de casă au fost gustoase, dar la prețuri care-ți taie pofta. Chelnerul Igor a fost destul de agreabil. Apropo: surpriza a fost și prețurile de pe site, care nu sunt actulizate și la o planificare de a plăti pe un Platou ”Săbătoare” 845 lei, a trebuit să scoatem din buzunar 935 de lei... Concluzia: un local superb ca și amenajare, unde poți face poze minunate și să te simți ca și cum ești în vizită la bunei. În schimb, prețurile sunt foarte exagerate, pentru niște porții mici și mâncare ce lasă de dorit din punct de vedere...
